After Michael went to find Baron Brown with Victor's orders, Victor looked at Knight Yellen, whose face was full of questions.

"Yellen, you'll soon see the secret weapon I prepared for this operation. It definitely won't disappoint you."

Before long, Baron Brown led several men over, pushing two carriages after unhitching the Draft Horses.

Knight Yellen looked over and recognized the item on one of the carriages. It was a small Catapult. He had seen one before in Sunset City; it was a long-range weapon used by the Golden Sunflower Family fleet, capable of launching stone shot or jars of fire oil. It had a long range and was convenient to use, making it a fairly good weapon. But he did not understand what a single one like this could accomplish.

As for the other carriage, Yellen assumed it carried the Catapult's ammunition.

After Baron Brown had the men who came with him stop the carriages and ready the Catapult, he walked up to Victor and said excitedly, "Legion Commander, the Catapult is ready. It can fire at any time. Please give the order."

Victor nodded. "Permission granted. Fire!"

Soon, Baron Brown's men took several boxes from behind the carriage. Inside the boxes were several large jars, with plenty of straw stuffed into the gaps between the jars and the boxes. It seemed to be there to prevent the jars from being jostled.

Yellen had initially thought these large jars were the projectiles, but he quickly dismissed that guess. The jars were too large.

Two soldiers carefully opened one of the jars. It appeared to be filled with a great deal of liquid. Yellen then assumed they were preparing to make fire oil jars on the spot, but would such a thing really be effective against those tall, thick logs
