Within the Eastern Divine Realm,

there were two domains.

In the mortal Dao domain, the stages from lowest to highest were Refining Essence into Qi, Refining Qi into Spirit, Refining Spirit into Void, and Returning to Void and Merging with Dao.

Refining Essence into Qi was merging three into two.

Refining Qi into Spirit was merging two into one.

Refining Spirit into Void was returning one to the limitless.

Returning to Void and Merging with Dao was the ultimate step.

Upon attaining the Human Immortal Dao Fruit,

one could ascend to the Heaven Realm.

Beyond that lay the Immortal Dao domain.

Its realms were: Human Immortal, Heavenly Immortal, Golden Immortal, Taiyi Immortal, and Grand Unity Immortal.

Mythic Cangyuan had begun as a mortal who was nothing at all, climbing step by step until he became a Grand Unity Immortal who had completely transcended all things.
