With the debt gone, Zhunti could naturally break through.
Of course, Jieyin had only eliminated temporary disasters and suffering. As long as living beings continued to exist in the Primordial World, suffering and disasters would never cease.
Thankfully, when Zhunti and Jieyin achieved sainthood, the great vows they made were not like Ksitigarbha's: "Until suffering is eradicated, karma shall not end."
Zhunti could no longer hold it in and broke through to the Saint Second Heaven on the spot.

"It's all right, Junior Brother. We've finally come through the bitter days." Jieyin patted Zhunti's back with one hand to comfort him while desperately trying to pull his brand-new monk's robe free with the other.
After all these years, he had finally gotten a new set of clothes. Jieyin treasured it dearly.
But Zhunti was clutching it too tightly. Jieyin did not dare exert any force, afraid of tearing the brand-new fabric.
Helpless, he could only let Zhunti do as he pleased.
Jieyin looked at Primordial Lord
