[In command of the order of the Primordial World, governing the karma of all spirits, all spirits are ordered and the common people live in peace. Yet now, observing the Myriad Phenomena Divine Realm, its living beings sink into ruin, evil obscures the Dao, the sea of suffering is boundless, their wails pierce the heavens; there is no method of transcendence, no gate to ferry them through calamity, and my heart is moved with pity.
Thus this edict is specially issued and proclaimed to the Three Realms: select a scripture-seeking and scripture-delivering team to go to Mount Wuyi's Buddhism to obtain the true scriptures, bearing the compassion of the Buddhist school and shouldering the duty of the Great Dao to ferry the world.
After enduring the tempering of myriad calamities, proving their hearts and Attaining the Dao, once their merit is complete, they shall journey far to the Myriad Phenomena Divine Realm, spread the Dao and transmit
