Eternal divine fire rose all across the sky, illuminating half of Chaos.
Asgard Divine Realm originally had nine layers.
It was also known as the Nine Realms.
All nine realms were born in reliance on the World Tree.
The upper three layers were capitals of gods and light.
They were: Asgard, Vanaheim, and Alfheim.
Asgard was home to the Aesir.
Vanaheim was home to the Vanir.
Alfheim was home to a group of light elves, beings even more radiant than sunlight and stars, who governed the spiritual energy of nature and life.
The middle three layers were the realms of mortals and giants.
Among them was Midgard, where humans lived, located at the center of the World Tree and surrounded by a boundless, vast ocean.
Jotunheim was home to the giant race, chiefly frost giants and mountain giants.
Svartalfheim was the homeland of the dwarven race. In Asgard Divine Realm, almost every dwarf was a master of Artifact Refining.

The lower three layers were worlds of kings and origins.
Helheim was the destination of living beings after death, similar to the Netherworld Underworld of the Prehistoric World.
Niflheim was the homeland of the frost giants.
Muspelheim was the land of fire, the territory of the fire giants, and also the land ruled by the Supreme Giant, Surtr.
The original nine realms were connected to one another, yet each was independent.

However, Surtr was clearly not very satisfied with such a divine realm.
He preferred the former structure
