Ibuse's head was smashed into a huge crater, interrupting its gathering of poison mist.
Without needing Hanzō's orders, it twisted in pain and swung its tail at Tsunade.

Jiraiya spewed blazing fire, while Gamabunta added toad oil to fuel it, engulfing both Ibuse and Hanzō.
Ibuse had no choice but to abandon its attack on Tsunade and leapt away.
The Toad Oil Bullet burned fiercely where it landed.
Orochimaru and Manda's attacks arrived immediately afterward. Ibuse had barely landed and steadied itself.
It took a heavy blow from Manda's tail head-on, while Orochimaru exchanged another move with Hanzō.
Both sides retreated several meters.
Tsunade and the others held a slight advantage in the first exchange, forming a triangle around Ibuse.
"Not bad teamwork. Sarutobi Hiruzen was lucky."

Naturally, Orochimaru would not let this opportunity slip away. He closed in again, somehow drawing another sword from nowhere.

Instead of retreating, Tsunade surged forward with a shout and threw a punch at Hanzō's face.
Hanzō used Water Body Flicker to evade Orochimaru and Jiraiya's attacks.
His chain sickle was already closing in on Tsunade.
"Sword Art: Iai Slash."
Hanzō's voice was cold. He actually intended to eliminate Tsunade first.
Tsunade did not pull back her punch and barely avoided the fatal blow.
