Ch. 557Kawafune Arrives

Kawafune arrived just as Nagato was about to feed the Two-Tails to the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, breaking the chain and confronting him. Hashirama joined Tobirama and Mito against the Three First Kage, while Kawafune faced Nagato alone.

  • Nagato's fused Five-Release Great Combo Bullet overwhelmed Hashirama's Wood Human, and the Two-Tails was dragged toward the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

  • Kawafune used his Flying Thunder God mark to behead Nagato and sealed him in a scroll, intending to revive him later for Nonō.

As Tsunade and the others joined the fight against the remaining enemies, Tobirama sent Tsunade to find the missing Sarutobi Hiruzen.

  • Madara fused his Complete Body Susanoo with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to create the Armored Gedo Susanoo.
  • Kawafune and Hashirama attacked the Armored Gedo Susanoo with their Great Buddhas and steadily drove Madara back.

Tsunade rescued the badly injured Sarutobi Hiruzen and joined the others after they sealed the four Impure World Reincarnation First Kage. As they rushed to help Hashirama against Madara, Madara unleashed Limbo: Border Jail and struck down most of their allies.

  • Tsunade found Sarutobi Hiruzen buried beneath the dirt, treated his injuries, and sent him to Shikkotsu Forest with a Katsuyu clone.
  • Tsunade saw Mito, Tobirama, Jiraiya, Fugaku, and Orochimaru defeat and seal the four Impure World Reincarnation First Kage.
