"Brendan, Roland!"
"Here, my lord!" the two commanders answered, straightening.
"Relay the order to the artillery positions!" Karl's voice brooked no argument. "Begin the bombardment on time in half an hour! Target the weakest section of the southern wall directly ahead! Concentrate all fire there and keep pounding it!"
"Use solid shot to smash the wall and explosive shells to slaughter the defenders on top! Don't spare the ammunition. Fire every shell we have! Leave not a single one! Before the infantry charges, I want that section of wall completely collapsed, and the Sauron soldiers on top blasted senseless and crippled!"
"Yes, my lord! We'll complete the mission!" Brendan nodded heavily and immediately signaled the messenger beside him to sprint off and relay the order to the artillery commander.
"Your infantry!" Karl's gaze swept over Brendan and Roland. "Begin the final preparations at once! Issue the Assault Vanguard the best armor and weapons! Inspect your equipment, eat a full combat meal, and prepare to charge! The moment the artillery stops and a breach appears in the wall, charge in!"
He paused, then his tone grew even more impassioned. "Tell every soldier! The Sauron have lost their nerve and have no will to fight! Once you're inside, don't hesitate—kill every enemy you see! Pay special attention to anyone wearing officer's armor!"
"I've already ordered the clerks and the Supervisory team to keep watch from behind! The more Sauron heads you take, the greater your military merit! After the battle, rewards will be distributed according to merit, along with land and houses. Those with outstanding achievements will
