"Dijiang?"
Inside the cave abode, everyone guarding Taishi and the other two during their cultivation was startled by Zhou Ming's words.
"Fellow Daoist Zhou Ming, are you certain it's Fellow Daoist Dijiang?" Cang Xuan asked hastily.
Dijiang commanded the Dao of Space, coming without a shadow and leaving without a trace. He was among the few in the Eternal Dao Realm most adept at staying alive.
By all rights, he should have been safer than Taiji and Taisu.
"There's no mistake," Zhou Ming said with certainty.
"He's the only person under heaven with those Space Law fluctuations."
"But he's in terrible shape."
Zhou Ming's brows knitted tightly as his divine thought followed that wisp of aura across countless trillions of miles of the Chaos Void.
A scene appeared clearly in his mind.
In the Eastern Pole Star Domain, amid a chaotic torrent of meteorites.
A figure covered in blood was darting desperately through them.
Each time he flickered, he reappeared millions of miles away. Yet the seven streaks of light behind him soon caught up, blasting the meteorite he had just landed on into dust.
That figure was none other than Dijiang.
Not a trace remained of the composure he had once possessed in the Eternal Dao Realm.
His Daoist robes were in tatters and his aura was disordered. His origin had clearly suffered grievous damage.
"Dijiang, you can't escape!"
An icy voice came from behind him.
Seven cultivators surrounded him in a triangular formation.
All seven were at the Fusion Dao Realm, and they worked together seamlessly.
"Hand it over, and we'll give you a quick death!" the lead cultivator shouted.
Dijiang stopped and leaned against a massive meteorite, panting heavily.
He stared coldly at the seven of them, without a trace of fear in his eyes.
