Before they could leave, Dr. Hugo’s helicopters attacked Arkham City, and Shimizu flew toward them to fight back.

  • Mr. Freeze explained Joker’s plot and asked Shimizu to help save Nora; Shimizu said he would need to examine her and use a molecular-level MRI scanner.

  • Shimizu used Wind Release to disrupt the helicopters, causing several to crash and explode.

  • Barbara hacked Miracle Tower and stopped Project Ten, but Dr. Hugo activated Project Eleven with the password “Wayne.”
  • Batman seized Dr. Hugo and escaped the exploding tower, while Shimizu spotted them and gave chase.

Ch. 120You Are Not Clear Wade

Shimizu confronted Batman over his efforts to protect Gotham’s corrupt officials, while Batman challenged Shimizu’s identity and motives. Batman warned that killing Mayor Sharp, Dr. Hugo, or other officials would bring the government’s retaliation, but promised they would ultimately be imprisoned for life.

  • Shimizu’s electric sword failed to damage the Anti-Puppet Master Armor, and Batman escaped in the modified Batwing.
  • Shimizu threatened Batman’s allies and the officials supporting Arkham City, then addressed Batman as Mr. Wayne.
