Bai Yifei could not help asking, "Can you also cut through the Sword Execution with a single strike?"
"I don't have that kind of ability." I shook my head. "But I should be able to get inside."
"How will you get in?" Bai Yifei asked.
"I need to wait for an opportunity and find a gap," I said.
"But there are no gaps in this Sword Execution. Sword aura is densely packed everywhere," Bai Yifei said.
"No, there is one. I can sense it," I said.
And so I waited in silence, watching the Sword Execution before me as I sank into thought.
No one knew how much time passed. More people broke into it, only to fail. Bai Yifei and the others grew increasingly frantic.
But then I suddenly opened my eyes and shouted, "Now!"
At that moment, I swung the Eight Tribulation Sword. Terrifying gray space spread around my body, expanding in all directions. In the blink of an eye, it froze the sword aura.
Once the sword aura was frozen, I looked toward the Sword Execution.
In a moment that no one noticed, a gap appeared before me. The gap existed for only an instant, but during that instant, there was no sword aura within it. Not even a trace.
This was the way to break through the deadliest Sword Execution. Amid the interwoven sword aura, this one gap was the only chance to survive.
I looked back at Bai Yifei, smiled faintly, and walked straight through.
As I passed through, all things seemed to stop. The surrounding sword aura stopped as well. Following the gap, I walked onward.
One step, then another. I walked through the gap, with no sword aura anywhere around me. I continued for ten minutes. Finally, I emerged from the Sword Execution.
