"Is that so?" I let out a cold laugh and shot straight into the sky.
But at that moment, the heat throughout my body began rapidly draining away. The closer I got to the enormous Black Sky, the faster my body heat dissipated. Gradually, I began to feel a trace of chill.
I sneered. "I see. So this is the extent of it? How laughable."
Light once again radiated from my entire body. I transformed directly into a shooting star and viciously pierced straight through. In the next moment, I had already arrived atop the Black Sky. My gaze fell upon the shadow before me.
It was a shadow shrouded in darkness, and I couldn't make out its face. But I could sense that it wasn't human. It was a life-form formed from a gathering of dark power.
