The Heavenly Dao was the controller of a world, and the power unleashed by countless Heavenly Daos was enough to make even the Celestials wary.
"Stop. We have no intention of joining this war." A cold voice rang out from the direction of the Heavenly Dao Palace.
But soon, a voice rose among the Celestials as well. "We don't need spectators. If you won't join us, you'll be destroyed."
"How domineering. You Celestials have committed atrocities for so many years. It's time you paid the price."
"The experts we cultivated are already sufficient. Since that's the case, today we'll join the Evil God faction and fight you!"
"Good."
And so, two torrents collided. Some of the Celestials' experts even tried to charge into the Heavenly Dao Palace. Yet no matter how fiercely they attacked, their efforts ultimately amounted to nothing.
Inside the Heavenly Dao Palace, a figure with a cold gaze sat in a chair. A divine wheel loomed behind him, making him seem like an exalted sovereign.
At that moment, someone charged out from among the Celestials and appeared inside the Heavenly Dao Palace. He soon sneered. "So it was you. I knew it. During that chaos, you vanished without a trace—so you were preparing to take revenge on us."
"What you did to us back then—it's time you paid the price," said the master of the Heavenly Dao Palace.
"Don't forget, you were once a Celestial too. Li Taiyi, what exactly are you trying to do?"
"What I want to do is restore order to this universe."
"Restore order? You should know what the Master of the Hooks intends to do! If our methods aren't extreme enough, we'll all die when the time comes."
"That is fate," said the master of the Heavenly Dao Palace.
