The light had only just faded when Moon Deer's sharp, manic voice rang out.
It was brimming with energy, passion, and spirit, like an announcer introducing a show.
It clearly loved this "job" of its and showed not the slightest hint of fatigue.
Arsene had still been immersed in pain, so when he looked up, he froze for a moment. He had not even realized they had just set out—let alone that they had already arrived.
"Is this... Mirror Hall?"
Arsene focused his gaze. What appeared before him and Iver was a magnificent palace so dazzling it left him utterly spellbound.
This was Mirror Hall. Yet judging by Arsene's instincts, a more accurate name might have been "Jade Palace."
It was constructed entirely from jade and emeralds, and covered an area at least twenty times larger than the Silver and Tin Palace. It was a genuine palace complex—or perhaps it could even be called a colossal fortress.
Some parts were dark green, others light green, while still others were red or yellow. There were also icy blue and milky white sections. The color of the outer walls was not uniform, but naturally distributed at random. Yet this did not make the place look jarring or ugly... because every section of the outer wall was painted with a masterpiece in a distinct yet wholly natural style.
Some were oil paintings, some were ink wash paintings, and some were reliefs.
These painted scenes blended perfectly with the jade stone beneath them.
It belonged to no single artistic style, yet incorporated every artistic style.
"Everything in the Material Realm that is acknowledged as 'beautiful' gathers here."
Iver answered, "This is Mirror Hall."
"...Then where are the mirrors?"
"The mirrors are inside, of course."
Iver smiled and patted Moon Deer beneath
