Just as the collapse of Supreme Heaven's throne had once caused the powers of such professions as "Berserker," "Warrior," "Challenger," and "Fighter" to melt away like fresh snow beneath the sun,
in merely one night, they had fallen from Extraordinary Professionals to the realm of ordinary mortals.
The Law Mages had lost the Law Spells they were accustomed to—the abilities that let them berate, arrest, and execute others according to legal statutes, bringing future judgment and enforcement forward into the "present" and completing them in an "instant" had completely ceased to function.
As for the Griffin Knights... their martial skills and physical abilities had remained intact, and their physical strength had even been enhanced somewhat. They had merely lost their mana pools for the time being, along with their perception of their Griffins.
Or rather, the "contracts" between them and their Griffins had been severed.
Without the means to communicate telepathically with their companions, all the Griffins' pupils had turned scarlet, and their tempers had clearly grown more irritable. However, although their relationship had been completely terminated, the Griffins still cherished their former bonds. Not one of them had left the knights who had raised them.
