The power behind the miracle that healed all beings did not come from the Abyss Angel. It was not even the "miracle of reviving the dead" triggered by the Sin Beast form.
It came from Iver himself.
However, it was not a healing spell of the Dedication Path.
As his extraordinary knowledge increased, Iver came to understand the principles behind many Extraordinary Skills more and more clearly—
The Dedication Path's Illumination Spell was, in essence, the creation miracle of the Reenacting Candle.
The Candle used itself as fuel, ignited a flame, and scorched the Thorns of Sin. In doing so, it created the first Pillar God... who was also Tai Yi, the Second Sun. Through the spread of its flames, the Candle illuminated heaven and earth, allowing the world to be reborn.
Under such circumstances, "burning" itself took on the special meaning of healing wounds.
Just as flames burned firewood and reduced it to ash.
If something positive was burned away, something negative would be produced; therefore, if something negative was burned away, something positive would be produced.
The Thorns of Sin were products of nothingness and could cancel out all extraordinary powers. They undoubtedly belonged to the negative. The Illumination Spell imitated the Stag's deed, and thus could burn away almost all pain.
For the same reason, healing through the Dedication Path had to trace back to "the level of the person who caused the injury." Wounds inflicted by ordinary people could be healed even if the victim had been cut in half; even injuries of flesh and blood inflicted by an extraordinary being of the Fifth Level—wounds that could be casually healed with a single prescription from a First-Level Path of Adaptation practitioner—might be impossible for a priest to burn away all at once if the attacker was
