The Governor of Light, dressed as the White Moon Knight, knelt on one knee, planted the holy sword into the ground, slung the holy shield over his back, and raised a beautiful radiance toward the Deer-headed Giant as if presenting a treasure.
Many Parthians in the city witnessed this scene.
They did not know what had happened beforehand. Moreover, they were too far away to hear the conversation clearly or see the Gray Angel's true appearance.
Yet this scene was incredibly striking—
The radiant knight, having shed his armor, revealed a handsome face. He held a holy sword and shield, with a saintlike thorn halo behind his head, and knelt halfway before the Deer-headed Giant in homage.
The enormous deer-headed man wore a black crown formed from the same kind of thorn halo. Behind him were six immense white wings, bound and entangled by Black Thorns. He lowered his head to gaze down at the knight, then slowly knelt halfway as well and extended a hand toward the knight below.
The radiant shield and black wings were symmetrical like mirror images, as were the halo and black crown above their heads.
"T-This—!"
The eyes of many great painters who painted Miniature Paintings trembled.
