I may have caught a bit of a chill. My head feels foggy, and the blood vessels in my neck are sticking out a little. I originally planned to go to bed early yesterday and get up to write, but I couldn't sleep, so I got up and started writing instead. But then my brain wouldn't work... As a result, I've stayed up until now without sleeping. I still haven't finished the first chapter, which I've been working on since staying up last night, and it feels like I won't finish until after three this afternoon.
Although I'm still not sleepy right now, I'll probably have another bout of insomnia. But my brain isn't working, so I've decided to take the day off and struggle on a little longer for my cat life...
I'm starting to doubt more and more whether I can finish by the end of May. Based on the current outline and update schedule, it feels like I might not make it. I estimate it may drag on until the middle or latter half of June!
