Taking a Day Off in Advance
Bad news, brothers—I'm about to be done for! Over the past three days, I've gotten less than three hours of sleep on two nights, and I've only been able to catch up on sleep during the day... I feel like I can't get my schedule back on track. If I force myself to adjust it, I won't be able to sleep at night either...
I have to check in at six-thirty tomorrow morning, and I honestly have no idea how I'm supposed to sleep before that. Then, starting at nine-thirty, I'll have to spend more than five hours on a plane... I've never flown before, but all my other friends told me that it's impossible to write or sleep on a plane... And I get carsick, so there's a good chance I'll get airsick too...
This is the advance leave I mentioned at the beginning of the month!
So I'll try to catch up on a full day's sleep over these two days... I'm taking today (the 25th) off first. I'll post what I write tonight and during the day tomorrow (the 26th) around noon. Hopefully I won't get sick after landing. If I do, I'll take leave in advance too (some brothers told me it's better to ask for leave earlier, so I'm asking for it at dawn this time!)
