This world had no Player Character, nor did it have the "Adventurer Team" that some player had inexplicably cobbled together, capable of killing gods if gods stood in their way and Buddhas if Buddhas stood in their way—in other words, other players who had been matched together into a team. When one could fully call upon available resources, the lone hero was the most foolish choice. After all, there was always a limit to what one person could accomplish. Choosing the right people was even more important—freeloaders, traitors, and ingrates would only have a negative effect.
Only those reliable and trustworthy enough were worth sharing Iver's precious experience with.
