The relevant information about this instance surfaced in Iver's mind.
This instance was called the Ancient Ruins of the Blood Altar. It wasn't a main-story instance, but rather the sort of speed-farming instance that consistently dropped a fixed piece of best-in-slot equipment—it was an instance from the Fallen Angel version, and the item it dropped was the final piece of the level-50 best-in-slot set for priests.
After the Fallen Angel descended, the leyline mana in many parts of Asthene went out of control. This triggered a series of earthquakes, causing many underground ruins to crack open once more and allowing the prophets to determine their exact locations. As a result, many instances with names ending in "Ancient Ruins" or "Ancient Relics" were created.
After entering this instance, players only had to clear one wave of mobs before reaching the BOSS. There were no successive early BOSSes like "the first boss" and "the second boss" that came one after another to offer themselves up. Instead, it was a typical "straight-line" instance—the entire instance had only one path, and charging straight to the end led to the final BOSS. The mobs along the way didn't even need to be fought in stops and starts; players could simply gather a train of them, charge all the way to the final BOSS's room, and wipe them out in one go.
That was precisely why there were so many speed-farming videos of this instance. Gathering a huge train of mobs, then watching a densely packed screen of Health Bars get wiped out at the final door was surprisingly cathartic... It felt a bit like trimming cow hooves or washing a carpet. That was why Iver recognized the instance the moment he saw the Blood Pool.
"Why aren't you speaking, invaders?"
