Great Sin Enhancement was an entry in the Great Sin Scholar's exclusive arsenal, second only in importance to Card Burning.
It was commonly referred to as "Enhancement" or "Card Fusion."
An enhanced Great Sin Card received a slight numerical boost to its upright effect, but that was not important.
After all, a few percentage points of damage hardly mattered. What mattered was the reversed effect—the summoned Great Sin Beast itself received an all-attribute enhancement. The attribute bonuses gained from fusing multiple cards were additive... In the game, each card provided 5%, so fusing five cards would result in a 25% enhancement.
The Great Sin Beast's base stats were already extremely high, so the proportional increase after receiving the enhancement would also be greater.
A 5% stat boost to a Demon Dog might be imperceptible, but if a raid BOSS received a 5% all-attribute enhancement, the entire party would be wiped out.
In the attack guides Iver had seen on forums and video sites in his Previous Life, there were sometimes some rather unorthodox builds. By pairing a specialized Great Sin Beast with a special deck, one could achieve the effect of a "Luxurious Four Protect One."
Normally, a Great Sin Scholar was a high-apm burst class that operated on two fronts.
In other words, through dual-line control, they would rapidly switch to different Great Sin Beasts at critical moments to cast skills, then switch Great Sin Beasts again after finishing. At the same time, their own body would rapidly draw cards and use various off-hand skills. Under normal circumstances, they relied on a Great Sin Beast remaining on the field to deal sustained damage.
"Card Fusion" was another playstyle—and one that suited Iver's current situation better.
It was the "Field Presence Style."
From beginning to end, it used only one
