A Life Always Spent Running Away
Iver's eyes widened slightly.
"—Inilis Blooming Flowers."
He softly recited Isabel's mother's name.
In that instant, countless clues intertwined in Iver's mind. Many things that had confused him before finally connected: he remembered clearly that Yanis's mentor was named Betina Tia Blooming Flowers.
In the game's original history, after fleeing here, Isabel performed a forbidden ritual and sacrificed her ability to bear children in exchange for the Inheritors of Flowers. She then became the Queen of Flowers and rebuilt the Kingdom of Camelot.
Betina Tia had crystallized in 1704, while it was now 1899. Only 195 years had passed since her death—exactly the length of time Yanis had been gone without saying goodbye. Innelis Blooming Flowers had been over two hundred years old twenty years ago... In other words, when Yanis left the Theocracy, Innelis should have been only a little girl.

If they were merely connected through a master-and-apprentice succession, then by Isabel's generation, there should have been no direct connection to the Lady of Flowers at all.
Yet Yanis had already visited Avalon once, roughly sixty years ago. She had been like a
