Lin Hao Tian truly hated himself for not having been born with two extra legs. He had pushed his speed to the limit, but the heavy footsteps of the Strange Beast behind him were drawing closer and closer. Clearly, the monster was faster than he was.

The monster might not have intended to kill him before, but he had tricked it. If it caught him now, he would certainly meet a Dead End. No matter what, Lin Hao Tian could not let himself be caught again. With that thought, he changed from running in a straight line and began weaving between the trees in a zigzag pattern.
Although the trees in this forest were not particularly dense, the Strange Beast was simply too large. After Lin Hao Tian changed his route, the monster crashed into several trees in succession as it pursued him. This greatly reduced its speed, and the distance between them gradually began to widen.
The Strange Beast knocked down four or five trees in succession. Seeing Lin Hao Tian getting farther and farther away, it let out an enraged growl and began speeding up. What nearly drove Lin Hao Tian to despair was that the monster ignored the trees blocking its path and simply smashed through them with its body. Under its ferocious strength, trees as thick as a person's embrace were knocked down with a crash.
