After more than ten minutes of preparation, Karin transformed into the Kusagakure higher-up, carried a sack over her shoulder, and left the medical room, heading toward the exit.
She drew the attention of quite a few Grass Ninja along the way. They even noticed that the medical room was empty.
But when they saw the higher-up's face, the Grass Ninja seemed to understand something and all stepped aside. Clearly, the higher-up had made a move against that red-haired brat. It was just a pity that they would not be able to enjoy free medical treatment for the next few days.
After successfully leaving the hospital, Karin quickly reached a corner of Kusagakure and easily slipped out of the village.
Setting down the heavy corpse, Karin panted as she looked back at Kusagakure, the village she regarded as a nightmare. Even now, it all felt surreal.
