After pondering for a moment, Naruto asked whether Shisui had awakened the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai. The latter shook his head lightly.
This left Naruto somewhat disappointed. The Uzu Curse Mark was the product of combining Ryuchi Cave Sage Art with White Zetsu cells. Even with Shisui's physical constitution, he had failed to awaken the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai. The odds for other shinobi were likely even lower.
However, from another perspective, that was not necessarily a bad thing.
Though the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai was powerful, the mortality rate during transplantation was extremely high. It was inherently unsuitable for widespread use. Rather than hoping to awaken the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai, it would be better to promote the Uzu Curse Mark.
Thinking of this, Naruto recalled White Zetsu again.
After this creature, which inherited the Divine Tree's traits, parasitized a shinobi, it could not only provide the host with Chakra, but even injuries such as severed arms and legs could be healed by transplanting White Zetsu limbs. It was clearly far more advanced than a curse mark.

Naruto chuckled. "Of course it can. The curse mark's final form is Sage Art, just as the Uchiha's Sharingan ultimately evolves into the Mangekyō Sharingan. And Sage Art and the Sharingan can complement each other."
With that explanation, Shisui understood at once. At the same time, he was
