When I typed the words "The End," my fingers hovered over the keyboard for a long time.
As my debut work, I never expected that I would be able to keep writing until its completion. Looking back on this past year and more of serialization, I felt an almost unbelievable sense of daze.
Starting the book, signing the contract, putting it behind a paywall, finishing it...
Here, I want to thank everyone for accompanying me all the way. You gave this newbie author the firmest foundation for creating.
This work had far too many imperfections—
It was originally meant to follow the template of a feel-good power fantasy, but the pacing in the early stages was too slow. The middle nearly spiraled out of control, and there was still much room for improvement in character portrayal, pacing, and plot setup.
Yet it was precisely these regrets that made me truly understand the weight of creation. At this moment, my most precious gain is not "completion," but the wonderful connection I formed with all of you, whom I have never met, through words.
A new book is already in preparation. This time, I will return with a more complete outline and more polished writing.
With sincere respect.
Until we meet again in the jianghu.
