"Stove Fire is the hope of life."
"Even the evil Xian in the deepest depths of hell, having forgotten its past, instinctively wants to ignite it, so that a trace of warmth and a glimmer of light can rise in the cold, silent darkness of Crow Country."
This was the Simulator's description of "Stove Fire."
As the old saying went, when a person died, they became a ghost; when a ghost died, it became a Xian. A ghost feared a Xian just as a person feared a ghost.
There was another legend.
Xian lived in Crow Country, a place even deeper than the underworld.
It was pitch-black there.
There was no light at all.
Only the cawing of crows that occasionally rang out could make the Xian living there sense that this world existed—and that they existed, too.
Jiang Qiao did not know whether the Xian in the Supernatural World and the Xian in tales of the strange were one and the same.
To this day.
Aside from the Simulator's description, he had never heard any information about Xian anywhere else.
Of course.
He knew the Simulator's information could not be wrong.
Xian definitely existed in this world.
They simply did not reveal themselves to the world.
He had once guessed from the line, "Guihai, the Nether Sea Appears Xian..." that perhaps only by journeying into the Depths of the Nether Sea could he encounter this mysterious existence, even more bizarre than a Vicious Ghost.
So he had not paid it much attention.
Until that day.
Fishbone Temple was about to open, and the Weird Tales Inn appeared in the northern part of Tower City.
And by a twist of fate.
He entered the Weird Tales Inn.
At the end of the inn's fifth floor lay a mysterious Supernatural place.
