Liu Yuanyuan pushed open the door of a clothing store.
The displays and furnishings inside were no different from those of an ordinary clothing store by the roadside. There were just very few kinds of clothes, and the store was completely deserted, its chilly emptiness frightening.
"Mr. Liu Yang."
"This clothing store actually has a computer."
"My god."
"Even areas controlled by top-tier forces wouldn't have a computer in a little shop like this. This thing is extremely expensive. Ordinary people can't afford it at all."
Li Wei looked around, and soon became interested in the cash register.
Liu Yuanyuan said nothing.
She walked over and tapped the keyboard a few times. The screen quickly lit up, displaying the checkout system. She tried to shut it down, but couldn't.
It seemed this computer could only handle checkout and receipt printing.
"That's pretty damn creepy."
It looked like a normal computer.
But Liu Yuanyuan couldn't find a power source, nor could she find any cables for the mouse, keyboard, or monitor.
She pulled the computer tower out from beneath the desk and found that the case was completely sealed, with no way to open it at all. Through the honeycomb-shaped holes that appeared to be meant for ventilation, she could vaguely see some kind of slime writhing inside.
Damn it!
This was really damn creepy!
With Liu Yuanyuan's current strength, for her to mutter that it was creepy, she definitely wasn't seeing an ordinary ghost.
This computer tower...
She couldn't sense anything inside it at all.
"What's wrong?" Li Wei had suffered from the limitations of his era and didn't know how to operate a computer, but when he saw the solemn expression on "Mr. Liu Yang's" face, he still sensed an inexplicable atmosphere.
This thing... seemed wrong?
Heaven help him.
