The moment his words fell.
The green ghostfire around them suddenly flared!
The green light flickered eerily.
One weightless paper house after another emerged from nothing, appearing through the haze.
At first, they were barely tangible.
But they quickly solidified, even the candlelight shadows in their windows looking lifelike. Beneath the paper eaves, shadowy figures could vaguely be seen moving.

His gaze passed over the ridge ahead and landed on the snowy ground atop the opposite hill.
The green light was sinister.
Paper houses stood impossibly across the snow.
Paper money fluttered through the air.
Drifting on the mountain wind.
And deep within those paper houses, two paper figures could vaguely be seen quickly emerging.
One black.
One green.
The black paper figure was unbelievably thin, like a utility pole, yet three or four meters tall. Its face, however, was huge, as large as a washbasin, with exaggerated features painted on it. Its mouth stretched all the way to its ears in an incomparably eerie grin.
It looked like a moving black sunflower.
It was dragging something in its hand
