Waves churned as the dead infant-like evil spirit rapidly approached.
The waves slammed against the stone walls with a dull roar, making the entire Tomb Entrance tremble faintly.
The pervasive foul aura seemed almost tangible. As the creature moved, it surged toward them from every direction, making the surrounding air thick and heavy.
"Benefactor Jiang."
"Shouldn't we hurry deeper into the tomb passage?"
Dragon Tiger Daoist said, "There's no need to fight this evil spirit."
The evil spirit approached swiftly.
Even Dragon Tiger Daoist could already make out its form, and horror spread across his face.

Dragon Tiger Daoist froze for a moment. "You want to fight that thing?"
"Is that really necessary?"
"Just assessing it." Jiang Qiao grinned. "Let's see exactly how powerful the evil spirits in this space are."

"If we find we can't beat it, run immediately."
Before he had even finished speaking.
Within his eyes.
Gray light suddenly flared.
Countless tiny blue points of light, like miniature stars, gathered in overlapping layers, swirling and spreading until they instantly filled the surrounding space.
At the Tomb Entrance.
On the stone walls.
On the water's surface.
And even in empty space.
Densely packed blue eyes gleamed with icy gazes.
And deep within every blue eye.
Gray light surged.
At that moment, the light throughout the entire watery space turned eerie.
The pitch-black surroundings were tinged with ghostly blue. Even the dead infant evil spirit's blue-gray skin took on a sickly hue beneath the blue light.
The dead infant seemed to sense something.
Its movements paused slightly, and its enormous head slowly turned.
