Richard first returned to his room.

He recorded last night's dream in Notes, including the school's location, the possible ages of the students inside, and even the physical sensation of his final fall.

Then he picked up his camera and went out again, finding Ah Wang at the village entrance.

Ah Wang was squatting beneath a tree, smoking. When he saw him, he hurriedly stood up and said:

"Sir."

"Are we going to the Divine Temple now?"

As his guide, he naturally knew why Richard had come here.

"Not yet."

"I had a dream last night." Richard got straight to the point. "I dreamed there was a school at the edge of the village. I want to take a look."

Ah Wang froze for a moment. "A school? There isn't one in the village."

"No school?" Richard narrowed his eyes slightly. "It's fine. I still want to take a look."

Ah Wang found this rather baffling.

But he did not ask any questions.

He led Richard through the village, and they soon arrived at the place from Richard's dream last night.

However...

The place was an empty clearing.

Let alone a school.

There was not even a proper shack.

Only several children were playing and roughhousing. Seeing Richard, a foreigner, they seemed both curious and afraid, quickly hiding farther away to watch him in secret.

"Sir."

"There has never been a school in this village."

Ah Wang found it somewhat amusing. "You just came to an unfamiliar place and had a dream, that's all."

Richard said nothing.

He stood in the middle of the clearing, looking around and observing carefully.

There truly was nothing here.

The building in his dream had been run-down, but it was a concrete structure. Yet there was not the slightest trace of a foundation here.
