Ch. 1741The Bizarre Little Girl

Xiao Lin and her companions discovered a supernatural presence in the Factory Building, and Naitasin Sawang Suesi vanished before they could escape. Elsewhere, Jiang Qiao confronted a bizarre little girl who emerged inside a ruined temple.

  • Xiao Ba spotted a gray-clothed figure on the Factory Building’s staircase, and the group reviewed camera footage that captured a distorted figure and a faint woman’s laugh.
  • Xiao Lin led the group out of the factory, but they realized Naitasin Sawang Suesi was missing and saw him standing on the roof in gray work clothes.
  • A blood-covered little girl appeared behind Naitasin Sawang Suesi and pushed him from the roof, whereupon his body vanished and only his clothes and a poster remained.
  • Jiang Qiao called for the hidden presence in the ruined temple to reveal itself, and a little girl appeared before the strange Buddha Statue and said she did not know him.

Ch. 1742The Evil Spirit's Main Body

Jiang Qiao confronted Nannan, an incense-made spirit who had eaten her master, Long Po Shui, and used Stove Fire to break her Supernatural Space. As Nannan revealed her true nature and transformed into a giant monster, Jiang Qiao prepared to fight her.

  • Jiang Qiao recognized that the wounded little girl was a body made entirely of incense and asked whether her master was Long Po Shui.
  • Nannan said she had eaten her master and dragged Jiang Qiao into a Supernatural Space filled with Vicious Ghosts and rotting flesh.
  • Jiang Qiao unleashed Stove Fire, which burned the Supernatural Space and forced it to shatter, returning him to the temple.
  • Jiang Qiao’s flames began harming Nannan, who tried to persuade him to take her to her master.
  • Nannan dropped her innocent act, revealed an aged voice, and transformed into a nine-meter-tall monster.

Ch. 1743Battle Against the Evil Spirit

Jiang Qiao confronted the incense-smoke evil spirit as she revealed her true form and tried to destroy his body and consciousness. Despite her power and his bleeding wounds, she burned under Jiang Qiao’s stove fire while he remained unharmed.

  • The little girl transformed into a nine-meter-tall evil spirit, but Jiang Qiao’s stove fire continued burning her.
  • The evil spirit attacked Jiang Qiao with a crushing power that extracted his blood, memories, and flesh, while he calmly examined the effects.
  • The evil spirit threatened to use Jiang Qiao’s body as a clone and torment his family, and Jiang Qiao mocked her melodramatic threats.
  • Jiang Qiao mentioned the Green Lotus Sect, causing the evil spirit to erupt in fury and intensify her attack.
  • The flames spread through the evil spirit’s body, and she was shocked to find that Jiang Qiao remained unharmed despite her having seized control of his flesh and memories.

Ch. 1744Long Po Shui

Jiang Qiao killed the Green Lotus Sect’s Traction Boy with the Stove Fire and rescued Long Po Shui, a monk trapped inside it. He asked Long Po Shui to explain the Green Lotus Sect, the Traction Boy, and why he had come to Siam.

  • Jiang Qiao remained unharmed as the Stove Fire burned the Traction Boy down to ashes in less than a minute.
  • After the flames vanished, Jiang Qiao found a thin Shadow Figure left behind and threatened to burn it unless it spoke.
  • The Shadow Figure identified itself as Long Po Shui and offered to help after Jiang Qiao rescued it from the Traction Boy’s belly.
  • Jiang Qiao asked Long Po Shui about the Green Lotus Sect, the Traction Boy, and his presence in Siam, explaining that Long Po Shui had brought a Golden Thread Jade Robe from Human Head Mountain fifty years earlier.

Ch. 1745Hidden Secrets (I)

Jiang Qiao learned that the Green Lotus Sect had secretly influenced events across history and was deeply connected to the underworld. Long Po Shui’s account revealed the sect’s early operations on Blue Star and left Jiang with only a glimpse of its hidden role.

  • Jiang Qiao reflected on how the Green Lotus Sect connected Medicine King City and the Half-Gods beneath Fishbone Temple to the underworld.
  • Long Po Shui explained that supernatural legends from eighteen hundred years earlier included encounters with ghosts and other strange entities.
  • A scholar surnamed Liu narrowly escaped being lured by Chāng ghosts toward a tiger after a sudden stomachache delayed him.
  • A minister surnamed Wen saw Strange Entities in dark water using a lit rhinoceros horn and died after a supernatural warning.
  • Long Po Shui revealed that a Green Lotus Sect member had guided Tuoba Gui to victory over Northern Liang and that the sect was behind the pyramids and Tuoba Gui’s vanished corpse.

Ch. 1746Hidden (2)

Long Po Shui explained how the Green Lotus Sect used human sacrifices and the dragon vein to try to open a passage to the Supernatural World, then cultivated spirits for centuries until it succeeded. He revealed that the Guangming Society arrived on Blue Star through that opening and described the Holy Cult’s guardians and enforcers, leaving the enforcers’ influence on history exposed.

  • The Green Lotus Sect used Later Wei’s rulers to build sacrificial sites and tunnels, culminating in the East Lin Garden Subsidence Incident that killed most of Later Wei’s upper class.
  • Long Po Shui said the Green Lotus Sect had spent millions of lives and decades trying to open a passage, then shifted its efforts across dynasties as the Earth Dragon’s vitality dwindled.
  • The Holy Cult cultivated holy spirits through Wish Power and evil spirits through Negative Aura, gradually bringing Blue Star closer to the Supernatural World.
  • Long Po Shui revealed that the Guangming Society came to Blue Star seven hundred years earlier when the Holy Cult opened a door to the Supernatural World, and that he became the third-generation guardian after his master disappeared.
  • Long Po Shui explained that the Holy Cult’s enforcers punished rogue guardians and evil spirits while steering history, including events involving the Guangming Society and the Gallic monarchy.

Ch. 1747Hidden (Three)

Jiang Qiao learned that the Green Lotus Sect had helped drive the Supernatural Revival and the Great Cataclysm, but Long Po Shui knew little about its motives or operatives. In northern Siam, Jiang Qiao discovered a cursed funeral photograph concealing a door that had drawn a Ghost Domain into the real world, and suspected the dead man had been an Awakened.

  • Jiang Qiao questioned Long Po Shui, who said the Green Lotus Sect sought to fuse Blue Star and the Supernatural World but revealed little about its plans or agents.
  • Long Po Shui explained that an evil spirit had taken control of him, and Jiang Qiao killed him after concluding he had no further value.
  • Jiang Qiao continued through Siam and found a funeral where the dead old man's photograph carried a curse and his body lay face-down in the coffin.
  • Jiang Qiao realized the photograph hid a door that pulled a place into the real world, surrounding the Mourning Hall with a Ghost Domain.
  • Jiang Qiao sensed residual supernatural power in the old man's body and questioned how an Awakened could have died from a fall.

Ch. 1748Entering the Cave Entrance of Grave Mountain

Jiang Qiao investigated supernatural activity in Siam while his clone joined more than a thousand Awakened exploring Grave Mountain. At the cave entrance, he recognized an aura linked to the Green Lotus Sect, suggesting the tomb was connected to it.

  • Jiang Qiao checked into a nearby town in Siam to investigate why the Green Lotus Sect had cultivated evil spirits there.
  • Jiang Qiao’s clone destroyed more than a dozen evil-god temples in the ruins and gained the nickname “Ruler of Evil Gods.”
  • The Luo Family found a passage into Grave Mountain and invited Awakened to explore it, while Gao Jie urged the crowd not to fear the danger.
  • More than a thousand Awakened entered the ruins, where a Luo Family descendant described the tomb and its ancient master.
  • Jiang Qiao sensed an aura at the cave entrance that resembled the Guiding Child’s and concluded that the cave was connected to the Green Lotus Sect.

Ch. 1749Entering Grave Mountain

Jiang Qiao followed the Awakened into Grave Mountain as Vicious Ghosts slaughtered those trapped in the entrance passage. The survivors scattered into the tomb’s many garden routes and prepared to face further dangers.

  • Luo Jin and Luo You identified the shriveled bodies of Luo Family scouts in the ancient passage and continued inward with the expedition.
  • The Awakened reached more than twenty garden entrances, but green-eyed Vicious Ghosts attacked those who hesitated and killed many people.
  • Jiang Qiao observed the bodies while concealed by an Invisibility Talisman and suspected the Vicious Ghosts were Skin Ghosts like one he had encountered before.
  • The survivors inside the gardens considered retreating or pressing ahead and began preparing their Supernatural Items for battle.

Ch. 1750The Strange Grave Mountain

Jiang Qiao traveled with Gao Jie, Sister Lan, and the others through Grave Mountain’s maze of Ancient Temple courtyards, where cursed bones and a plaza full of dead Awakened revealed the danger of the supernatural space. The group witnessed strangled corpses revive and attack a newly arrived party.

  • Jiang Qiao joined Gao Jie, Sister Lan, Qian Jia, and their companions as they entered the interconnected Ancient Temple courtyards under the protection of Gao Jie’s Youluo Umbrella.
  • Sister Lan explained that each courtyard was an independent space and warned the group to stay within the umbrella’s protection.
  • Sister Lan tested a skeleton with a sacred lotus, which turned evil and grew black hair, revealing that the bones carried powerful curses.
  • After crossing sixty-four courtyards, the group reached a plaza filled with the corpses of Awakened, and Sister Lan’s compass detected a Vicious Ghost.
  • Strangled Awakened appeared beneath the eaves, then revived when their ropes snapped and attacked a newly arrived group, whose leader fought back with a hammer.

Ch. 1751The evil thing in the tomb

Gao Jie and his companions left the plaza after the Awakened gained control of the drifting human skins, then discovered a garden filled with the remains of people attacked by a corporeal evil spirit. The chapter ended as a hidden woman ghost gravely wounded three newcomers and revealed the danger lurking in the fossil trees.

  • An Awakened man struck the drifting human skins with a hammer, and the gathered Awakened destroyed them as more people joined the fight.
  • Gao Jie warned his companions that most visitors to the tomb would likely die and said the sealed senior was known for leaving only hair behind after killing opponents.
  • Gao Jie, Sister Lan, Qian Jia, and the others opened the third courtyard and found human skins, bones, and body parts scattered across the garden.
  • Qian Jia examined the remains and identified the attacker as a corporeal evil spirit, while Gao Jie questioned why such a creature would exist in the tomb.
  • A woman ghost sprang from a fossil tree and gravely wounded three peak third-order Awakened who tried to fight her.

Ch. 1752Painted Skin? Mountain Ghost?

Sister Lan and Gao Jie’s group killed a disguised Painted Skin and learned that Mountain Ghosts were present in the ancient tomb. Jiang Qiao grew suspicious of Sister Lan’s mysterious knowledge and decided to capture her after they left.

  • Sister Lan urged the group to kill the Vicious Ghost, and Gao Jie agreed.
  • Qian Jia and the others attacked together, interrupting the ghost until Qian Jia tore it into four pieces.
  • Sister Lan identified the corpse as a Painted Skin and said that Mountain Ghosts were in the tomb.
  • Sister Lan explained that Mountain Ghosts could imitate humans and reproduce with one another, surprising Jiang Qiao.
  • Jiang Qiao decided to capture Sister Lan after they left and investigate her home.

Ch. 1753Stone Statue

Gao Jie and the others discovered a radiant hall in Grave Mountain, where two companions vanished after studying its steles. Jiang Qiao examined a Stone Statue that absorbed his punch and later showed faintly clearer features.

  • Gao Jie and Qian Jia found that the glowing steles seemed to calm their supernatural powers, but two Third Tier companions suddenly vanished in a rain of light.
  • Gao Jie warned everyone not to look at the steles, while Sister Lan suspected the deaths were corpse liberation.
  • Jiang Qiao reasoned that the steles’ halos had triggered a curse through supernatural resonance and considered what corpse liberation might mean in Grave Mountain.
  • The others fled the dangerous hall, but Jiang Qiao stayed to inspect the Stone Statue at its shrine.
  • Jiang Qiao punched the Stone Statue, which absorbed the force without damage, then he left the shrine.
  • A strand of blood seeped from the statue’s impact point before it absorbed the blood, and its blurred features appeared slightly clearer.

Ch. 1754The Ancient Temple's End

Qian Jia, Gao Jie, Sister Lan, and Jiang Qiao survived the Ancient Temple and learned that its curses were only traces of a failed predecessor’s power. They reached the gate to Grave Mountain’s forest outskirts, where scattered Supernatural Items and unseen dangers awaited.

  • Qian Jia feared that Grave Mountain was too dangerous for Awakened, but Gao Jie urged the group to continue into the outer region rather than turn back.
  • Sister Lan explained that the predecessor had tried corpse liberation and become a curse, but his power remained sealed in Grave Mountain’s core, with only a small amount spreading outward.
  • Gao Jie asked about the predecessor’s identity, and Sister Lan said the Three Great Southern Border Families might know more.
  • Jiang Qiao wondered whether the Southern Border had a conspiracy connected to the ruin’s discovery.
  • The group crossed the Ancient Temple and reached a dark forest path lined with wooden stakes and white lanterns, where Gao Jie warned that the dangers ahead might be harder to resist and useful items could require entering the woods.

Ch. 1755Roadside Wardrobe

Gao Jie’s group crossed a rainy forest path inside the Ancient Temple’s supernatural world and avoided a suspicious wardrobe before collecting rainwater. Another team of seven Awakened entered the path without protection from the rain, unprepared for the strange environment.

  • Gao Jie and his companions found that the Ancient Temple’s rear door had vanished behind them as they entered a dark forest path beneath a rain carrying the stench of blood.
  • Gao Jie warned the group not to approach a large wardrobe that might conceal ghosts or lead to another supernatural place, and told them to seek small, inconspicuous items instead.
  • Qian Jia suggested collecting the corrosive rainwater, and Gao Jie agreed they could do so after they passed the wardrobe.
  • The group walked past the wardrobe without incident, then stopped to collect rainwater in a jar and bottle.
  • A seven-person team of Awakened entered the path without an umbrella and struggled against the rain’s chill and stench, having arrived unprepared.

Ch. 1756The Thing in the Wardrobe

A makeshift team argued as it crossed the rain-soaked ruins, then found a suspicious wooden cabinet by the roadside. The Scar-faced man opened it and claimed a dangerous straw-man item without suffering any apparent harm, leaving the others regretting their caution as the group moved on.

  • The mature woman and the Scar-faced man argued over whether the group should be cautious, until the middle-aged man persuaded them to stop.
  • The Scar-faced man spotted a wooden cabinet and ignored the mature woman's warning as the others backed away.
  • The Scar-faced man opened the cabinet and found a tattered straw man with faded names written on paper attached to its back.
  • The Scar-faced man recognized the straw man as a dangerous supernatural item and picked it up, but nothing happened to him.
  • The others regretted letting the Scar-faced man reach the cabinet first, and the middle-aged man led the team onward.

Ch. 1757The Scarecrow's Curse

Azhou was suspected of attracting a Vicious Ghost after the team heard a strange breathing sound, and the others left him behind to test the suspicion. The ghost revealed its straw-stuffed face behind Azhou, and blood poured from his ears, nostrils, and mouth.

  • The team heard breathing behind them, while Azhou noticed a Bamboo Hat man appearing only at the edge of his vision.
  • The middle-aged leader and the others suspected Azhou because he carried a Supernatural Item, and they made him wait alone while they walked away.
  • The breathing stopped after the team left Azhou, and the mature woman blamed him for attracting an Evil Spirit.
  • Azhou called to the others as they moved farther away, and they stared at the ghost standing behind him.
  • The Bamboo Hat man revealed hollow eyes and nostrils stuffed with straw and a mouth sewn shut with straw, and Azhou began bleeding from his ears, nostrils, and mouth.

Ch. 1758Evil Creatures Catching Up

Gao Jie’s group traveled deeper into the Grave Mountain Ruins, where they encountered three fleeing Awakened pursued by an invisible ghost and a Weird Corpse. The Slender Man intervened against the corpse’s straw-based mental attack, but the group remained in a dangerous area with supernatural threats closing in.

  • Gao Jie led the group onward using a map of the ruins and explained why the Awakened who had brought out a powerful Supernatural Item was suspected to have been killed by the New Humans.
  • The group entered darker woods, noticed that lanterns were spaced closer together, and saw two figures cross the road without being affected by the lantern light.
  • Gao Jie put away the Youluo Umbrella so it could rest, and Sister Lan soon sensed three Awakened approaching from behind.
  • The three newcomers ran with an invisible ghost beside them, while a Weird Corpse with straw packed into its face followed close behind.
  • The Weird Corpse’s attack caused Gao Jie’s three Third Tier companions to bleed and lose control of their powers, but Sister Lan summoned the Slender Man, which seized a bloodied bundle of straw and relieved their suffering.

Ch. 1759Terrifying Scarecrow

Three survivors led a Vicious Ghost toward Gao Jie’s group, and Gao Jie used his power to send them into the ghost’s reach. The ghost turned them into scarecrows and attacked with a Sixth Tier Ghost Domain, leaving the group trapped behind the straining Youluo Umbrella.

  • Three members of the seven-person team fled the Scar-faced Vicious Ghost and begged Gao Jie’s group for help, with the leader claiming he could guide them using a map.
  • Gao Jie recognized that the survivors were nearly dead and, with Qian Jia agreeing, decided not to let them approach.
  • Gao Jie used his supernatural power to make the three turn back and attack the Strange Male Corpse and the Gap in the Curtain of Rain.
  • The three passed through the gap, but the Strange Male Corpse caused straw to grow through their bodies and transform them into scarecrows.
  • The scarecrows charged Gao Jie’s group as a shadow spread beneath them, and Gao Jie opened the Youluo Umbrella to raise its Ghost Domain.
  • The shadow clashed with the umbrella’s Ghost Domain and pulled two Third Tier Awakened into darkness; Qian Jia realized the pursuing ghost had a Sixth Tier Ghost Domain, putting the group at risk of annihilation.

Ch. 1760Wooden House Vicious Ghost

Jiang Qiao escaped the shadow of a powerful Vicious Ghost and continued along the endless dirt road, where he found the Wooden House Gao Jie had warned about. A masked woman in white Mourning Clothes appeared in its doorway and seemed to watch him.

  • The Weird Second Generation realized the ruins held Vicious Ghosts far stronger than they had expected and that their inexperience left them dangerously unprepared.
  • Jiang Qiao fled the approaching shadows and judged the scarecrow to be a peak Fifth Order Vicious Ghost, with an invisible Idealistic Malevolent Ghost beside it.
  • As Jiang Qiao walked the seemingly endless road, he compared the journey to the tedious game Desert Bus.
  • Jiang Qiao spotted a lantern-lit path leading into the woods and recognized the abandoned Wooden House Gao Jie had mentioned.
  • A woman in white Mourning Clothes and a white mask appeared in the Wooden House's doorway and seemed to watch Jiang Qiao.
