Madara Uchiha attacked Iwagakure, forcing Ōnoki to confront him and discover that he wielded both Wood Release and the Susanoo. Ōnoki was blasted away by Madara’s overwhelming power, leaving him facing the terror he remembered from decades earlier.

• Ōnoki learned that an Uchiha was attacking Iwagakure and flew out with Kitsuchi to investigate the spreading sea of fire.
• Ōnoki recognized Madara Uchiha at the center of the attack and ordered Kitsuchi to fetch Han before confronting Madara himself.
• Ōnoki attempted to strike Madara with Dust Release, but Madara unleashed Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence.
