Each sage location had its own unique ecosystem and creatures. Mount Myōboku had toads, Shikkotsu Forest had slugs, and Ryūchi Cave had snakes. Of them, Mount Myōboku's toads were the most secretive. The other sage locations had more or less been discovered by people, but aside from those chosen by them, almost no one could find Mount Myōboku.
Now, Naruto had vaguely sensed Mount Myōboku's location. It was far away, yet still within the teleportation range of his Flying Thunder God Technique.
Naruto did not choose to teleport directly into Mount Myōboku. There was still some cleanup to handle at the scene.
He looked toward Kakashi, who had yet to leave in the distance.
Naruto appeared before Kakashi and Ao, his eyes filled with amusement as he said, "One-Eyed Uncle, long time no see."
Kakashi's single eye took on a dead-fish look. "It really has been a long time, Naruto."
Ao, who together with Kakashi happened to make up a pair of normal eyes, was equally stunned. He had not expected Kakashi to be an old acquaintance of Naruto's as well.
And those Uchiha... they were probably all Konoha's rogue ninjas. It could only be said that Konoha truly lived up to its name—even its rogue ninjas were beyond those of other villages.
"You two are quite self-aware."
There was a hint of teasing in Naruto's voice. Even if they had chosen to flee, it would merely have taken him a little more effort, but their sensible attitude still pleased him.
After all, one Mangekyō Sharingan and one freely removable Byakugan had voluntarily delivered themselves to his doorstep.
