Within a hundred miles of Mount Myōboku, everything had completely changed color.
The sky had been split in two by two terrifying masses of Chakra. Blue radiance and black light stained this world. Below Mount Myōboku, many toads that had not managed to leave in time poked their heads out from the forest or the water and looked up, seeing nothing but a sky of blue and black.
Hagoromo Otsutsuki's Susanoo stood proudly atop Mount Myōboku.
Ice-blue flames burned across the surface of the Susanoo, which towered like a majestic mountain. Its helmet, breastplate, leg armor, and battle boots all shimmered with blue light.
Layer upon layer of Chakra wrapped around its enormous blue wings, which blotted out the sky and seemed ready to envelop all of Mount Myōboku.
A pentagonal gemstone adorned the mask of the war god. Hagoromo Otsutsuki stood within it, while beneath the mask, its eye sockets were dark and profound, as though some kind of flame burned within. The Complete Body Susanoo looked down upon all living things like a god seated high above.
It was now as tall as Mount Myōboku itself.
Opposite it stood another colossal monster, one no less imposing than the blue Susanoo.
Black armor covered the Nine-Tails' entire body, and ink-black flames continued to burn across it.
Its armored mask, utterly different from Hagoromo Otsutsuki's, glimmered with specks of red light, while crimson flames burned within its eye sockets.
Two bizarre horns grew from its pitch-black fox head. Countless blood-red patterns could be seen between the ink-black plates of its armor, making the Armored Susanoo appear even more savage and terrifying.
Like a true demon.
