Naruto waited until the next day before entering the Sealing Space again.
He had given Kushina a full day to adjust. With that much time, she should have gotten her emotions under control, right?
Inside the Sealing Space, Kushina was still sitting in a chair and sulking. The little Nine-Tails, who had planned to watch the show from the sidelines yesterday, was now being held in her arms as a tool for venting.
Watching the show came with risks.
Minato Namikaze was also sitting nearby, gazing at Kushina with tender eyes.
If one ignored the huge bump on Minato Namikaze's head, it was quite a warm scene.
When Naruto appeared in the Sealing Space, Kushina was still kneading and squishing the Nine-Tails' cheeks.
The little Nine-Tails' face, constantly being kneaded, had been left with nothing but utter despair.
Naruto's arrival naturally caught both Kushina and Minato Namikaze's attention.
Kushina's eyes immediately lit up. Casually tossing the Nine-Tails in her arms onto the ground, she lunged straight at Naruto.
"Naruto!"
A trace of helplessness flashed through Naruto's eyes. He sidestepped Kushina's flying pounce.
After she missed and steadied herself, Naruto said, "Kushina, perhaps in your eyes, I am your child. But to me, we are merely strangers who have just met. So please maintain a safe and reasonable distance from me."
"Y-you called me what?"
Kushina asked blankly.
"Kushina?" Naruto was somewhat puzzled as well. He had always addressed Minato Namikaze by name too.
Naruto glanced at Minato Namikaze, who helplessly shrugged.
Though he had tried hard to explain it to Kushina, if she could accept it that easily, then she would not be Kushina.
"You have to call me Mom!"
Kushina's face was full of displeasure as she lunged at Naruto again, several Adamantine Chains appearing behind her.
"Haah..."
