When Naruto received Konan's first message, dawn had only just broken.
It was still early morning.
Naruto had just gotten out of bed when he received Konan's thought wave.
Listening to what Konan had said, he had not expected Nagato to move against Obito Uchiha and Black Zetsu without so much as a word.
He really did not know whether Nagato was simply arrogant or stubborn and self-willed. In any case, the man clearly knew nothing about planning. He was not worried at all about the other side having backup plans, and he still had to ask them for intelligence.
It had been the same in the original work. He never really considered the consequences of his actions. The only smart thing he had done was lie low and make money in the early stages.
But later on, he had more or less become something of a clown.
Still, Naruto was happy to see this. He hoped something would go wrong when Nagato acted. If he stepped in then, it would mean much more.
After briefly informing her about Black Zetsu and Obito Uchiha, Naruto no longer intended to go back to sleep. He quickly got dressed, looked at the sky outside the window, and thought.

A rhythmic knock sounded at the door, followed by a lively voice unique to young girls. Yet the person speaking was already a married woman.
"Naruto, time to get up. Breakfast is ready..."
Kushina's voice grew quieter toward the end, sounding a little surprised. He had clearly gotten up quite late yesterday.
Then Kushina asked curiously.
"Naruto, why are you awake so early today?"
"I have something to deal with later."
