"What's this?"
Naruto looked at the three figures lying at Orochimaru's feet and the Konoha ninja forehead protectors on their heads, his expression somewhat surprised.
Orochimaru smiled. "While clearing out Kusagakure just now, we found these three."
"They should be spies sent by Konoha. The one with stickers on his face is an Inuzuka Clan ninja, the one wearing sunglasses is from the Aburame Clan, and the remaining one is from the Hyuga Clan."
"Konoha probably noticed our movements and sent out a reconnaissance squad. But these three were merely cannon fodder. After drawing our attention, the real reconnaissance squad had already left."
Orochimaru's words made Naruto frown. "Is that so? They actually managed to escape from you?"
Orochimaru shook his head and gave Kakuzu a sinister smile. "My snakes only discovered their location. I was on defense. He was the one who attacked."
Kakuzu's expression did not change. "The other three were too far away. By the time I got there, they had already escaped. But from that distance, with my face covered, they couldn't have seen anything."
"Mm."
Naruto merely nodded. Whether the two had been exposed did not matter much to him. Nor did he expect them to handle high-end battles. Special talents had to be used in special places.
"Let me introduce you first. This is Mui. From now on, he'll be your colleague."
Naruto pointed at Mui, who stood behind them like a lackey, then looked at the two little ones, who were equally nervous. "These two are family members."
"H-Hello."
Mui greeted them nervously. Mainly because the two ninjas before him placed far too much pressure on him. If he remembered correctly, that cold and sinister ninja should be the legendary "Cold Lord," Orochimaru.
And the green-eyed fellow was definitely no ordinary person either.
