Ch. 1171Establishing a Career

Mo Hua used the chaos of war to begin uniting tribes around Wutu Mountain under the guise of a Great Wilderness Shaman, promising to protect them and revive the Great Wilderness. After conquering the nearby small tribes, he prepared to face the strongest local tribe, the Wulu Tribe.

  • Mo Hua decided that the war and confusion in the Great Wilderness gave him an opportunity to unite its tribes, but he needed a convincing identity to act unnoticed.
  • Mo Hua told Elder Zhamu that he was a Shaman on a mission to unify the Divine Path and revive the Great Wilderness, and won the Wutu Tribe's allegiance by promising its survival and a future for Little Zhatu.
  • Mo Hua assembled the Wutu Tribe's remaining fighters and led them against the nearby Wotai Tribe, crippling its elders with fireballs and forcing the tribe to submit.
  • Mo Hua conquered six small tribes in two days, using force to overcome resistance and sparing most opponents from his own killing blows.
  • Mo Hua spent five more days subduing the tribes around Wutu Mountain and gathered about two hundred young Barbarian Cultivators, leaving only the powerful Wulu Tribe unconquered.

Ch. 1172The Shaman

Mo Hua led his ragtag force to subdue the powerful Wulu Tribe, overcoming their fierce resistance by breaking the Blood God Curse and toppling their god statue. With Wulu and the surviving tribes under his command, he unified the region and named it the Wutu Mountain Realm.

  • Mo Hua ordered his two hundred Barbarian Cultivators to attack the Wulu Tribe despite the elders’ objections, and deserters were executed as a warning.
  • As Mo Hua’s force approached Wulu, he invoked the God Lord’s authority to steady his frightened followers, and they broke through the stockade gate.
  • The Wulu Tribe’s chief and elders attacked Mo Hua while their cultivators overwhelmed his troops, but Mo Hua held off the leaders with his spells.
  • The Wulu leaders activated the Blood God Curse, but Mo Hua shattered it with a Soul-Startling Sword and forced the Wulu cultivators out of their empowered state.
  • Mo Hua shattered the Wulu God statue’s knees, making it appear to kneel, and Wucha and the Wulu Tribe submitted to him.
  • Mo Hua brought the surviving tribes under his command and named the unified region the Wutu Mountain Realm.

Ch. 1173Internal Strife and Punitive Expedition

Mo Hua improved life and enforced order in the Wutu Mountain Realm, but tribal feuds and violence led him to launch a punitive expedition against the Black Horn Tribe. After conquering the tribe and punishing Wulu offenders, he killed its Barbarian God and broke through to Twenty-Two Pattern Divine Consciousness.

  • Mo Hua distributed food, organized monster hunts, improved cooking, and planted grain to support the tribes of the Wutu Mountain Realm.
  • As tribal disputes and abuses continued, Mo Hua imposed stricter laws and decided to redirect the tribes’ conflict by expanding southward.
  • Mo Hua led eight hundred Barbarian Cultivators, mostly from the Wulu Tribe, to defeat the Black Horn Tribe and reject the customary enslavement of its survivors.
  • After Wulu cultivators attacked Black Horn captives, Mo Hua ordered Wucha to whip the offenders and warned that he could replace the Wulu Tribe if it rebelled.
  • Wucha questioned whether Mo Hua came from the Nine Provinces, prompting Mo Hua to resolve to keep his powers and identity concealed.
  • Mo Hua killed the Black Horn Tribe’s Barbarian God, absorbed its Thought Power, and advanced his Divine Consciousness to Twenty-Two Pattern.

Ch. 1174Sir

After advancing his divine sense, Mo Hua pursued the Great Wilderness’s Barbarian Gods and secured the Black Horn Tribe’s armor-forging inheritance. He took in more than forty hidden Black Horn children as students, promising to teach them and pass on Sacred Patterns to the most talented.

  • Mo Hua told Elder Zhamu to record the surrounding tribes and their Barbarian Gods, then claimed the Gods’ blessings would ultimately return to the God Lord.
  • Mo Hua pressured Elder Jiaohu into revealing the Black Horn Tribe’s armor-forging secrets and reconstructed the complete Black Horn Barbarian Armor Diagram himself.
  • Mo Hua ordered Elder Jiaohu to forge three sets of armor within ten days and asked about the hidden Black Horn children.
  • Elder Jiaohu brought more than forty children to Mo Hua, who promised to teach them and pass Sacred Patterns to those with exceptional talent.
  • Mo Hua had Little Zhatu clean and feed the children, then told them to call him Teacher.

Ch. 1175Black Horn Barbarian Armor

Mo Hua used his authority as a Shaman to give Wucha Black Horn Barbarian Armor and persuaded Elder Jiaohu to restore the Black Horn Tribe’s armor inheritance. As Wucha expanded through the mountain realm, Mo Hua focused on teaching the children he gathered, leaving the story with his influence and school steadily growing.

  • Elder Jiaohu brought Mo Hua a set of Black Horn Barbarian Armor, and Mo Hua inscribed it with a Four Symbols Black Horn Array.
  • Mo Hua bestowed the armor on Wucha and ordered him to fight for the God Lord, promising more armor as a reward for battle merit.
  • Mo Hua promised Elder Jiaohu that the Black Horn Tribe could reclaim its lost armor inheritance, then gave him Sword Bone to guide his forging.
  • With Sword Bone’s help, Elder Jiaohu improved his craft, and Mo Hua supplied Wucha and his elders with more armor for campaigns against nearby tribes.
  • Mo Hua ordered Wucha not to kill children and to bring them back, while Mo Hua taught them cultivation, skills, and principles.

Ch. 1176Great Shaman

Mo Hua consolidated his rule over seven Second-Grade Mountain Realms while teaching the tribes, improving their cultivation and livelihoods, and strengthening their armies. With expansion exhausted and a powerful Third-Grade Mountain Realm blocking the way, he resolved to seek a way to break into it and uncover deeper Wilderness secrets.

  • Wucha and the allied Barbarian Cultivators took half a year to pacify the Black Horn Mountain Realm, after which Mo Hua ordered them to campaign west and promised to name the next realm after Wucha.
  • Mo Hua promoted Jiaoli alongside Wucha, organized governance across conquered tribes, and established cultivation lessons and improved livelihoods for Barbarian Tribe children and cultivators.
  • Over the next two years, Wucha and Jiaoli conquered five more Second-Grade Mountain Realms, while Mo Hua gathered their cultivation records, developed Barbarian Armor, and studied incomplete divination texts that mentioned a vanished Great Shaman.
  • Mo Hua questioned Elder Zhamu and other Barbarian Cultivators about Great Shamans, but none knew of the title, leaving him unsettled by its disappearance from Wilderness history.
  • Mo Hua considered using Big Tiger to attack a Third-Grade Mountain Realm but decided to keep it safe, then resolved to find another way to invade the realm and investigate its stronger tribes and hidden secrets.

Ch. 1177Vermilion Bird Mountain Realm

Mo Hua investigated the powerful Vermilion Bird Mountain Realm and concluded that he could not conquer it by force, so he sought a promising disciple who could help change the Wilderness. After a divination pointed him toward the Danjue Tribe, he infiltrated its outer settlements and heard of the young master Danzhu, whose talent drew his attention.

  • Mo Hua left Black Horn Mountain Realm and spent over a month secretly assessing the Vermilion Bird Mountain Realm, discovering its strength far exceeded his expectations.
  • Mo Hua learned that the realm's tribes shared fire-and-bird totems associated with the Vermilion Bird and realized its origins might be significant.
  • Mo Hua decided to seek an influential and capable disciple instead of trying to fight the realm, then used demon-bone divination that revealed the characters “Danjue.”
  • Mo Hua disguised himself and infiltrated the outer settlements of the Danjue Tribe, where he searched for a suitable disciple for over a month.
  • Mo Hua overheard that Danzhu, the Danjue Tribe Young Master, had been born with a Dao Heart, reached Foundation Establishment at ten, and formed a Golden Core at twenty.

Ch. 1178Danzhu

Mo Hua sought a way to approach Danzhu, the Danque Tribe’s exceptionally gifted and kind young master, and arranged a mountain collapse to draw him to a Minor Tribe. After sneaking into Danzhu’s guarded lodging, Mo Hua planted a suggestion in his sleep directing him to a supposed divine revelation at Danyang Mountain the next day.

  • Mo Hua learned that Danzhu regularly visited the tribes in his territory and traveled to a Minor Tribe to meet him.
  • Mo Hua observed Danzhu caring for the tribespeople and struggled to find a way past his guards to approach him.
  • Mo Hua caused a small cliff to collapse, prompting Danzhu to inspect the damage and arrange shelter for those affected.
  • Danzhu stayed overnight at the Minor Tribe, where Mo Hua overheard his guards worry that his kindness and popularity could endanger him in a future struggle for power.
  • Mo Hua bypassed the guards and entered Danzhu’s lodging while he slept.
  • Mo Hua used Dao Heart Planting Demon to tell Danzhu in a dream to seek guidance at Danyang Mountain the following day.

Ch. 1179Charlatan

Mo Hua tried to gain Danzhu’s trust by posing as a Shaman guided by the God Lord, after Danzhu followed the dream’s directions to Danyang Mountain. Danzhu invited Mo Hua to the Danjue Tribe to seek his guidance, and Mo Hua entered the tribe’s central primary settlement three days later.

  • Danzhu dreamed of the God Lord’s guidance but hesitated to tell his guards, then changed his route from Great Wind Mountain to Danyang Mountain after recalling the dream.
  • Mo Hua followed Danzhu and arranged to appear at the predicted fork, presenting himself as Mr. Wu, a Shaman who served the God Lord.
  • Danzhu questioned Mr. Wu about his origins and cultivation, and Mo Hua answered with mysterious claims and a show of worldly weariness.
  • Danzhu invited Mr. Wu to visit the Danjue Tribe and hear his doubts, and Mo Hua accepted.
  • Three days later, Danzhu personally escorted Mo Hua into the Danjue Tribe’s central primary tribe.

Ch. 1180Great Chieftain

Mo Hua, posing as the God Lord’s Shaman Mr. Wu, entered the Danque Tribe’s Primary Tribe with Young Master Danzhu and challenged Danzhu’s ideals about prosperity and leadership. Danzhu brought him to a family banquet, where Dan Bie questioned Mo Hua’s identity and low cultivation, and Mo Hua defended his divine authority.

  • Danzhu escorted Mo Hua into the Danque Tribe’s Primary Tribe and welcomed him to Danzhu Palace despite his guards’ suspicions.
  • Mo Hua drew out Danzhu’s doubts about his responsibilities and argued that the tribe could not pursue prosperity through exploitation while also promising peace and abundance for its people.
  • A guard summoned Danzhu to a family banquet with his father, the Great Chieftain, and Danzhu invited Mo Hua to attend.
  • At the banquet, Dan Bie questioned why Danzhu had brought a Foundation Establishment outsider and challenged Mo Hua’s claim to be a Shaman.
  • Mo Hua declared that the God Lord’s power made distinctions of cultivation and status insignificant and that all living beings were equal.

Ch. 1181He Would Die

Mo Hua was challenged to prove he was a Shaman by predicting a guard’s death within one day. The Great Chieftain killed the guard just before the deadline, honoring Mo Hua as a guest, while Mo Hua realized the guard had been having an affair with the chieftain’s concubine.

  • The Danque Tribe’s Great Chieftain demanded that Mo Hua prove he was a Shaman or face punishment, and Mo Hua declared that a guard would die within one day.
  • Dan Bie wagered Mo Hua’s life on the prediction, while Danzhu defended Mo Hua and Golden Core Elders surrounded the guard with protective artifacts.
  • As the day passed without incident, Mo Hua wondered how the guard’s death omen would come to pass, and Danzhu resolved to protect him if the wager failed.
  • Just before the deadline, the Great Chieftain killed the guard with one slap and acknowledged that Mo Hua’s prediction had come true.
  • Mo Hua realized the guard had been involved with the Great Chieftain’s concubine, and the Great Chieftain welcomed him as an honored guest of the Danque Tribe.

Ch. 1182Causal Heart Technique

After the Great Chieftain killed a guard and recognized Mo Hua as a Shaman, Mo Hua pondered how human emotions shaped karma and gained insight into the connection between Divine Consciousness, the heart, and the Dao. As he grew closer to Danzhu, Mo Hua foresaw that the struggle for the chieftain’s seat could force Danzhu to betray his kindness or perish, leaving the Danque Tribe’s future shrouded in bloodshed.

  • The Great Chieftain killed a guard to end Dan Bie’s challenge against Mo Hua, publicly validating Mo Hua as a Shaman and dispersing the banquet.
  • Mo Hua reflected on the Great Chieftain’s motives and realized that karma and Celestial Pivot’s revelations were intertwined with the shifting human heart.
  • Mo Hua connected Divine Consciousness, the heart, karma, and the unity of knowledge and action, then recorded his incomplete insight on a Jade Slip.
  • Mo Hua spent the following days advising Danzhu on karma, tribal affairs, Array Technique, and the people, while learning that Danzhu understood the tensions around him but avoided suspecting others.
  • Mo Hua deduced that the contest among Dan He, Dan Bie, and Danzhu would intensify, forcing Danzhu either to lose his life and kindness or to kill his brothers and become ruthless.
  • Mo Hua foresaw the Danque Tribe engulfed in Karmic Fire, with bloodshed between brothers staining its Totem.

Ch. 1183Altering Fate

Mo Hua studied the Danque Tribe’s history and hierarchy, then guided Danzhu to see the suffering of its barbarian slaves and began reshaping his outlook. When cultivators from Shugu raided a minor tribe and provoked the Danque Tribe, Mo Hua sensed a fateful opportunity amid the growing unrest.

  • Mo Hua investigated the Great Wilderness, learning about the Four Symbols, Sacred Patterns, the Danque Tribe’s Red Feather Soldiers, and the tribe’s political structure.
  • Mo Hua recognized that barbarian slaves and poorer tribes bore the burden of the Danque Tribe’s prosperity, and concluded that kind-hearted Danzhu could help change its future.
  • Over the following month, Mo Hua showed Danzhu the harsh lives of barbarian slaves, and Danzhu’s perspective and path of fate began to change.
  • Mo Hua realized Danzhu lacked the power and supporters to act on his growing compassion, while he sensed an approaching upheaval in the Great Wilderness.
  • Cultivators from Shugu raided a minor tribe north of the Danque Tribe, killing its elderly and children and abducting its young people as slaves.
  • As the Danque Tribe erupted in anger, Mo Hua sensed that the raid was tied to a larger chain of cause and effect and that it offered him an opportunity.

Ch. 1184The Ferocious Beast Takes Over

Danzhu received permission to lead an expedition against the Shugu Tribe, while Mo Hua urged him to take a large force and accompanied him. The expedition reached a Danque Minor Tribe reduced to ruins, where the slaughter stirred Mo Hua’s anger and a strange sense of familiarity.

  • Mo Hua persuaded Danzhu to ask the Great Chieftain for permission to campaign against the Shugu Tribe, and the Great Chieftain agreed.
  • Mo Hua urged Danzhu to gather as many soldiers as possible, and Danzhu assembled more than a hundred elite Barbarian Soldiers alongside Chi Feng, Bashan, and Bachuan.
  • Dan Bie watched Danzhu depart and grew cold toward his younger brother, while the Great Chieftain worried about Danzhu’s safety and pondered the Old Ancestor’s prophecy about a ferocious beast taking the throne.
  • Danzhu led the force northwest through the night with Mo Hua beside him, and Chi Feng noticed Danzhu’s growing composure.
  • The group arrived at a Danque Minor Tribe whose camp had been destroyed, its children and elderly killed and its able-bodied people abducted, and Mo Hua felt anger alongside an inexplicable familiarity.

Ch. 1185Profound Fire Feather Garment

Mo Hua led Danzhu and the Danque Tribe west by a shortcut to ambush a Shugu Wandering Tribe, where Danzhu defeated its Golden Core leader with his Vermilion Bird Profound Fire Feather Garment. After discovering that the Shugu tribesmen had eaten captured Danque clansmen, Mo Hua questioned their leader about a blood-marked cave and ordered his limbs crippled; the leader offered to talk, but Mo Hua said it was too late.

  • Mo Hua claimed the God Lord had revealed the Shugu Tribe's direction, then led Danzhu and the Danque Tribe west along a shortcut to find their tracks.
  • Mo Hua and Danzhu's party located the Shugu Wandering Tribe's camp and planned a three-sided ambush, with Danzhu leading the charge.
  • Danzhu's Vermilion Bird Profound Fire Feather Garment helped him overwhelm the Shugu leader, while the Danque soldiers killed or captured the tribe members.
  • Mo Hua and the others discovered human limbs roasting over the campfires and realized the Shugu Tribe had eaten their Danque clansmen.
  • Mo Hua noticed blood patterns outside a small cave and demanded an explanation from the bound Shugu leader, then ordered Chi Feng to cripple him when he stayed silent.

Ch. 1186A Big Fellow (Bonus Chapter for Alliance Leader Petting the Owl's Head~)

Mo Hua uncovered the Shugu Tribe’s forbidden cave and saved Elder Bashan from a fit of madness by recognizing that he had been tainted by Evil Thoughts, not Divine Punishment. After investigating the altar, Mo Hua discovered that the Barbarian God worshipped by the Shugu Tribe might actually be an Evil God.

  • Mo Hua questioned the Shugu Tribe Leader about the cave and learned that the tribe used it to worship a Barbarian God, but the leader refused to reveal the god’s whereabouts.
  • Elder Bashan ignored Mo Hua’s warning and entered the cave; Mo Hua recognized that Bashan had been corrupted and ordered Chi Feng to restrain him.
  • Bashan went mad and tried to bite Chi Feng, but Chi Feng chained him upside down and whipped him until he regained control of himself.
  • Mo Hua reassured Bashan that he had suffered from Evil Thoughts rather than Divine Punishment, and Bashan and Bachuan began treating Mo Hua as a Shaman.
  • Mo Hua entered the cave, examined its altar, and detected a faint trace of evil corruption in the Barbarian God’s aura.

Ch. 1187Bone-Carving Array

Mo Hua discovered that carving arrays onto bones caused unbearable pain and drained blood, vitality, and life force, making his planned Golden Core Formation dangerously difficult. He kept Tie Shugu alive after testing the technique on him and realized he would need to find a way to overcome its lethal risks.

  • Mo Hua noticed that many captured Danjue tribesmen were missing and forced Tie Shugu to reveal where they had been sent, but Tie Shugu denied knowing anything.
  • Mo Hua ordered Chi Feng to break Tie Shugu's legs, then took him into a cave and began testing bone-carving arrays on his exposed bones.
  • Tie Shugu screamed and fainted from the pain when Mo Hua carved array patterns into his bones, and Mo Hua realized the process would be excruciating.
  • Mo Hua found that the carved patterns rapidly drained Tie Shugu's blood, vitality, and life force, revealing that the technique could kill him.
  • Mo Hua gave Tie Shugu pills and healing powders to keep him alive, and Tie Shugu woke and looked at Mo Hua like an evil ghost.

Ch. 1188Famine Disaster

Mo Hua learned that the Shugu Tribe’s attacks and human sacrifices had grown out of a spreading Famine Disaster and corrupted its Barbarian God. He led Danzhu’s group to the Shugu secret branch to rescue captives, where they encountered a Bifang Tribe youth who insulted Danzhu and Mo Hua.

  • Mo Hua interrogated Tie Shugu, who explained that famine had driven the Shugu Tribe to eat captives and that their corrupted faith had gradually transformed their Barbarian God into an Evil God.
  • Mo Hua warned Danzhu, Chi Feng, and the elders that the famine might spread to the Danque Tribe, and Danzhu decided to alert his father while Mo Hua kept Tie Shugu alive to guide them to the captives.
  • Tie Shugu led Mo Hua and Danzhu’s party to a Shugu secret branch, which they found under attack by several tribes.
  • Danzhu led his group into the battle to search for Danque captives while avoiding clashes with other tribes, including the hostile Bifang Tribe.
  • A black-clad Bifang youth approached Danzhu, mocked him, and insulted Mo Hua after Danzhu addressed him as Sir.

Ch. 1189Killing Intent

Mo Hua and the Danque Tribe confronted Bi Jie as both tribes attacked the Shugu Secret Tribe, and Mo Hua warned Danzhu that Bi Jie intended to kill him. After searching in vain for the abducted tribespeople, they reached a guarded Stone Hall where Bi Jie had just slaughtered the Shugu defenders.

  • Bi Jie threatened Mo Hua, but Chi Feng protected him and refused to hand him over; Danzhu agreed to keep the Danque Tribe out of the Bifang Tribe’s fight for territory while they rescued captives.
  • Away from the Danque Tribe, Bi Jie ordered his Golden Core elders to seize an opportunity to assassinate Danzhu, arguing that Danzhu’s talent made him a future threat.
  • Mo Hua urged Danzhu and his companions to watch for Bi Jie’s attack and kill him if a chance arose, and they agreed to stay alert while continuing the rescue mission.
  • The Danque Tribe searched the Shugu Secret Tribe’s valley but found no captives, then reached an enormous Stone Hall alongside the Bifang Tribe.
  • Bi Jie led the slaughter of the Shugu defenders at the Stone Hall, then confronted Danzhu and the Danque Tribe, calling them wraiths that would not go away.

Ch. 1190"Going to 'Death'"

Mo Hua and the Danque Tribe faced Bi Jie outside the Shugu Secret Tribe’s Stone Hall, where a hidden evil killed the Bifang scouts and left both tribes wary. With the deadlock unresolved, Mo Hua declared that he would enter the hall to confront the evil, presenting his decision as a Shaman’s duty.

  • Elder Bashan insulted Bi Jie at Mo Hua’s prompting, but a Bifang elder stopped Bi Jie from charging into the apparent gap in the Danque formation.
  • Bifang Witch Cultivators opened the Stone Hall with an array, and Mo Hua sensed an Evil God’s presence inside.
  • Bi Jie sent Elder Cang, Elder Zhuo, and twenty Bifang soldiers into the hall while the rest of his force guarded the entrance.
  • Elder Cang returned horribly wounded, reported that everyone inside had died and that the hall held a great evil, then died outside the entrance.
  • Mo Hua considered killing Bi Jie, but Bi Jie sensed the threat and ordered the Bifang soldiers to form a protective ring around him.
  • When Bi Jie offered to let the Danque Tribe enter the hall, Mo Hua stopped them and volunteered to confront the evil as a Shaman.
