Mo Hua prepared to formally draw the Sinan Parent-Child Array.

He went to find Master Chen and had him forge a simple Compass, along with several dozen Stone Needles.

The Parent Array of the Sinan Parent-Child Compound Array had only one set, drawn on the Compass. There could be many Child Arrays, drawn on the Stone Needles.

There was no connection between the Child Arrays; they merely sensed one another with the Parent Array. Though there seemed to be many Child Arrays, in truth, what the Array Hub controlled was still only a pair of single arrays.

Therefore, the Sinan Parent-Child Array could only be considered a Compound Array containing two single arrays.

Mo Hua spent half the day drawing, and finished drawing the array.

After that, he prepared to test its effect.

Mo Hua entered Great Black Mountain, set down traps and arrays, then planted a Stone Needle a dozen or so zhang nearby. He had Da Hu and the other two keep watch in the vicinity, while Mo Hua himself held the Sinan Parent Array and ran far, far away.

Only after walking for more than half an hour did Mo Hua stop. Then he found a clump of grass, crouched in it, and stared at the Compass in his hand.

Mo Hua waited and waited, until he was getting a little drowsy.

Just then, a point on the Compass suddenly lit up.

The point that lit up corresponded exactly to the Stone Needle Mo Hua had planted.

Mo Hua's spirits jolted, and he immediately ran back.

By the time he arrived, the monster had already been killed by Da Hu and the other two. It lay on the ground, its blood not yet dry.

Mo Hua walked forward and pressed his fingers against the monster's heart meridian.
