The green-faced, fang-toothed imp burrowed into a vast, blank Sea of Consciousness and was instantly overjoyed, cackling, "Such profound Divine Sense! This will keep me fed for a long time!"
Then its bronze-bell-like eyes rolled, and it spotted Mo Hua within the Sea of Consciousness. Its smile froze. "How are you in here?"
Mo Hua looked confused. "This is my Sea of Consciousness. Why shouldn't I be here?"
"No, that's not right! You shouldn't be here!"
The Green-Faced Imp's eyes darted about, its expression shifting. Suddenly, it cried out, "Divine Sense Manifestation, endowed with extraordinary talent, a natural supreme tonic! This is an opportunity bestowed by heaven! Good! Excellent!"
Mo Hua frowned.
"A supreme tonic? Is it talking about me? Does this Green-Faced Imp feed on cultivators' Divine Sense?"
Mo Hua recalled what Mr. Zhuang had said:
"The Visualization Diagram reflects another person's Divine Sense and their understanding of the Heavenly Dao. In other words, what is visualized is someone else's 'Dao'—or perhaps the 'Dao' of certain nonhuman things. Once Divine Sense becomes immersed within it, the consequences are often exceedingly terrifying..."

Mo Hua's gaze sharpened as he asked, "What exactly are you?"
The Green-Faced Imp grinned viciously. "Little brat, once I've eaten you, you'll know."
Before Mo Hua could react, it became a streak of green shadow and lunged straight at him, baring its fangs in a ferocious attempt to swallow him whole.
Mo Hua hurriedly retreated, his movements light and flowing as he evaded the Green-Faced Imp's pounce.
