Combat Readiness Training

Since they intended to participate in the war, they had to decide on personnel and conduct concentrated combat readiness training, improving the participants' combat proficiency and battlefield survival rate as much as possible. After all, the Radical Faction Uchiha were merely hot-blooded, battle-loving, and stubborn—not careless with their own lives.

As Elder Setsuna's designated next "spokesman," Uchiha Tokimitsu not only had the obligation to participate in the war, but also the right to command. There were two Medical Squads, each using a four-man structure of one Jonin leading three Chunin. The Jonin were primarily responsible for protection, while the Chunin handled the actual medical work. There were also two Sealing Squads, each consisting of three members, all Chunin. The Support Troops included two Jonin and twelve Chunin in total—there was no choice. To the battle-loving Uchiha, Medical Ninjutsu and Sealing Jutsu were both considered "minor tricks" unrelated to increasing one's strength. Few people normally took the initiative to practice them, and their standards in Medical Ninjutsu and Sealing Jutsu could only be described as barely usable, still short of sufficient. Being able to gather so many Uchiha Ninja who knew a little Medical Ninjutsu and Sealing Jutsu was, if not the best among the worst, at least an unexpected delight.

Last were the Guard Troops directly under the Command Division formed by Uchiha Kamon and Uchiha Tokimitsu. They were divided into two Guard Squads, each led by one Jonin with two Chunin. They would serve as battlefield security forces and a reserve for strategic support at critical moments.

After the groups were established and the duties of each unit explained, the Uchiha clan members all expressed no objections. They firmly supported Captain Kamon and Young Lord Tokimitsu's wise decisions, though they found this system of organizing units according to personal talents rather novel.

Uchiha Tokimitsu did not waste words. Uchiha Kamon then led the Combat Squads assigned to the Combat troops in tactical exercises, while Tokimitsu took the Support Troops and Guard Troops to further implement his own plans.

At one side of the Uchiha Training Ground, Uchiha Tokimitsu glanced toward the Combat troops training in the forest, where flashing blades and shadows battled in a chaotic mass. He then turned back and carefully examined these Uchiha clan members who would be directly under his command.

Twenty-two people: four Jonin and eighteen Chunin. This would be Uchiha Tokimitsu's first group of subordinates.

As a rational finance worker in his previous life, Uchiha Tokimitsu understood that one could not chew more than one could swallow, and that the consequence of greed was becoming trapped in one's own cocoon. Therefore, he would not overestimate himself and seek complete command over this Uchiha Ninja Army. He would merely take the share that fell within what he believed to be his personal capabilities.

"Fellow clansmen, introduce yourselves."

Looking at the twenty-two subordinates under his command, Uchiha Tokimitsu smiled brightly.

The Uchiha glanced at one another before focusing their gazes on the four Jonin.

"Uchiha Nobuhiko, Konoha Military Police Force Jonin. I specialize in Fire Style, Lightning Style, and Uchiha Style Swordsmanship..."

"Uchiha Kensuke, under Elder Shifang. I specialize in Fire Style, Wind Style, and Genjutsu..."

"Uchiha Eitaro, under Elder Kaka. I specialize in Fire Style, Earth Style, and Uchiha Style Swordsmanship..."

"Uchiha Yoshiki, under Elder Josuke. I specialize in Fire Style, Wind Style, Lightning Style, and Genjutsu..."

The four Jonin all appeared quite humble. They had also attended the Radical Faction Meeting and knew that Uchiha Tokimitsu had evolved his Three-Tomoe Sharingan on the spot during the Clan Meeting.

If even proud Uchiha Jonin had lowered their heads, the Chunin naturally would not be foolish enough to cause trouble.

The eighteen Chunin also introduced their respective circumstances one by one.

Uchiha Tokimitsu was inwardly satisfied with such a smooth beginning.

He then took out the training plan he had prepared and explained its arrangements.

In Uchiha Tokimitsu's plans, the Medical Squads of the Support Troops would handle the initial treatment of battlefield casualties and the distribution of medical supplies. The Sealing Squads would primarily be responsible for storing and distributing various spare Ninja tools, while also undertaking Sealing Jutsu tasks in certain special situations—after all, despite being called Medical Squads and Sealing Squads, they had essentially been forced into the roles. Their skills truly could not compare to Konoha's Medical Squads and Sealing Squads.

At the edge of the forest, three motionless red figures were hidden in the trees. Judging from the human outlines fed back by the Heat-Seeking Sense Technique, they were likely lurking there to observe the Uchiha Ninja Army's movements.

"Spies? Or Anbu rats?"

Uchiha Tokimitsu muttered, able to roughly guess what kind of Ninja were lurking there. However, he did not hesitate. He waved over the two Jonin assigned to the Guard Squads, Uchiha Nobuhiko and Uchiha Kensuke.

Uchiha Tokimitsu briefly explained the situation and assigned them the capture mission. Neither man hesitated. They immediately gathered the Chunin under their command, split into two teams, and moved to encircle the Lurkers.

Uchiha Tokimitsu slowly formed hand seals again. He wanted to test a combination Ninjutsu he had conceived long ago, and these rats were the perfect test subjects.

"Lightning Style: Falling Lightning!"

By using Sensory Ninjutsu to determine the location, guiding Chakra transmission, and forming a specific Ninjutsu formula, he could achieve precise long-range Ninjutsu strikes. This was the combination Ninjutsu Uchiha Tokimitsu had conceived.

"Boom!"

Lightning Style: Falling Lightning split into three bolts of Thunderbolt and struck at the Lurkers. One of them failed to dodge in time and was hit.

Although the other two Lurkers had no idea where the Lightning Style Ninjutsu had come from, they understood that their infiltration had been exposed. They hurriedly used the Body Flicker Technique in an attempt to escape.

"Move!"

Seeing this, Uchiha Nobuhiko and Uchiha Kensuke, who were encircling them from both sides, immediately rushed forward to capture them.

With preparation against the unprepared, and facing powerful Three-Tomoe Jonin, the two Lurkers trying to flee were knocked down by Uchiha Nobuhiko after only a few exchanges. Afraid that something major had happened and that Uchiha Tokimitsu, the Great Elder's precious disciple, might be hurt, Uchiha Kamon hurriedly sent part of the personnel rushing toward the capture site. He himself immediately flashed back to Uchiha Tokimitsu's side to protect him.

After Uchiha Nobuhiko and Uchiha Kensuke escorted the Lurkers over, Uchiha Kamon listened to Tokimitsu's account. He was relieved, but at the same time deeply astonished by Uchiha Tokimitsu's combination Ninjutsu.

Turning back, the Uchiha all stared at these captured "rats" with their Sharingan.

They wore tattered black hooded robes, masks, and armor beneath...

They looked like Anbu.

Should they be killed to silence them, or released and leave the matter there?

"Where did you spies come from?"

Uchiha Kamon's first question immediately branded them as spies.

The three suspected Anbu Lurkers shuddered under the oppressive gaze of the Uchiha's Sharingan, yet none said a word.

"Hmph! Your mouths are pretty stubborn..."

Uchiha Kamon felt somewhat embarrassed and intended to use a few methods on these Lurkers who did not know what was good for them.

"Take off their masks first."

Uchiha Tokimitsu spoke. Hearing this, Uchiha Kamon stopped. Uchiha Nobuhiko removed the masks one by one.

One middle-aged man and two youths.

Looking at the patterns on their masks again, they were strange, somewhat savage and fierce, different from the ordinary animal masks of the Anbu?

"You're Danzo's pet rats?"

Uchiha Tokimitsu asked mockingly.

The three still did not say a word.

"Your mouths really are tough. I hope you keep that same attitude after entering the Konoha Military Police Force."

Uchiha Tokimitsu chuckled, unconcerned by their attitude.

"Xinyan Jonin, please escort these spies to the Konoha Military Police Force. Kensuke Jonin, take your squad along as an escort."

"Yes!"

The two accepted the order.

Hearing that they were truly going to be sent to the Konoha Military Police Force, the two still-conscious Lurkers could not help struggling a little. Once they entered the Uchiha Konoha Military Police Force, which excelled at Genjutsu and was ruthless in its methods, they would no longer have any say in the matter.

"Uchiha! Release—"

Seeing that things had gone badly, the middle-aged Lurker hurriedly spoke. Before he could finish, however, Uchiha Nobuhiko grabbed his jaw and, with a crack, dislocated it.

"The rats have been cleared out. Everyone, continue training!"

Uchiha Tokimitsu said to the watching Uchiha clan members.

"Yes!"

The Uchiha clan members all lowered their heads and answered in unison.

Their orderly response startled flocks of birds into flight throughout the forest...

Through this capture, the Uchiha clan members directly witnessed Uchiha Tokimitsu's ruthless strength. They no longer dared underestimate this eight-year-old junior, especially after hearing from the Support Troops about Uchiha Tokimitsu's mysterious long-range combination Ninjutsu. They were even more astonished.

After all, for Uchiha, who were all Scorpios at heart, the best way to win people over was through strength. One's fist determined one's right to speak.

With this little display of his blade, Uchiha Tokimitsu won the recognition of this Ninja Army.
