The dream was filled with corpses—tens of thousands of dead people, cities burning in seas of fire, and buildings letting out dying screams, like hell.
She dreamed that she had become a baby girl, bound in swaddling clothes and abandoned in a plaza. The buildings around the plaza were tall and magnificent, yet they burned to ashes in the flames.
The architectural style was unlike that of any city she had ever seen.
It was neither Brags nor Ambersell, and it differed even more from the Cruzian aesthetic.
Brando was not by her side. Roman began to feel afraid. She wanted to call for Brando and Freya, desperately forcing out sounds, but in the end she could only cry incessantly, her voice clear and loud.
Then a group of armored knights hacked their way out of the flames. The style of their armor was strange; Roman had never seen anything like it in Brando's territory.
When the knights saw her, they immediately cried out in delight. Roman had never heard their language before, and they spoke extremely quickly, yet she could understand them:

The knights shouted and drew their swords. But before they could approach, several golden flames suddenly descended from the sky and struck them. High-temperature beams pierced down through their heads, and flames burst from beneath their armor. In the end, only several twisted scraps of metal remained scattered across the ground.
Then Roman saw several people in black-and-red robes walk out through the sea of fire. They said nothing and simply picked her up from the ground.
One of them stared intently at her, an indescribable expression appearing on his face. He shook his head heavily.
