"I still don't quite understand," Brando asked. "What does that mean?"
"It means a lot. You'll understand soon enough," White Mist said. "First of all, it means you're the one chosen by three holy swords. There has only ever been one person like that in history. Do you know who was the last person to be acknowledged by two holy swords at the same time?"
Brando thought for a moment, then remembered someone. That person had once used a Wind Element Sacred Sword as a key to open the gate leading to the Mountain of Calmed Storms, and had obtained Gaia's three sacred relics from the mountains: the Sword of Earth—Harangya, the Mountain and River Attribute, and the Sacred Spear Azure.
That person was the Azure Knights.
History never recorded which Wind Element Sacred Sword the Azure Knights had used, but it should at least have been an Elemental Sacred Sword. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to open the gate between the two worlds. Later, he obtained the three great sacred relics of the Earth Sanctuary, among which the Sacred Spear Azure was an artifact of an even higher level than Harangya. If he had not received the recognition of the Seal of Gaia, how could he have taken it away?
"The Azure Knights?" he asked tentatively.
"You catch on quickly," White Mist said with a smile. "Indeed, it was the Azure Knights. After all, only someone who pursued freedom and independence as unrestrained as the wind, while also gaining the recognition of the Sword of Earth, could ultimately protect this world and bring Vonder into the Age of Mortals. That was the beginning of the gods ceasing to interfere in mortal destinies."
"Lady White Mist, comparing me to the Azure Knights is far too much of an exaggeration."
