The moment he entered the Elemental Barrier.
Brando immediately noticed something strange.
When he observed Tiamat Law from outside it, he found that it was a massive network formed from silver lines of varying thickness, interwoven together and covering the sky above the entire world of Vonder. But after entering the network, the world became different. First, the orderly veins of light vanished. Viewed from within, it was no longer made up of crisscrossing pillars of light.
Brando was shocked to discover that he seemed to have entered a vast world composed of constructs.
Above, below, left, and right, black metallic constructs floated in the cosmic void. They resembled the divine constructs from Hazel mythology—black, conical metal objects covered in latticework, with things stretching flat from both sides like solar panels. But instead of silicon cells, they were covered in rhombus-shaped, translucent, resin-like crystals.
Tens of millions of these strange constructs floated hundreds of kilometers above Vonder's atmosphere. They were arranged in perfect order, forming a huge matrix with thousands of layers above and below, stretching so far to either side that the eye could not see its end.
Among these constructs were several enormous irregular geometric objects made of the same metallic material. Yet Brando could not shake the feeling that they resembled spaceships floating in outer space.
Those objects looked strangely familiar at first glance. But when he looked more closely, he suddenly remembered where he had seen something similar.
The boundless snowfields and glaciers at the center of Dead Frost Forest flashed through his mind. Black towers like these stood atop the glaciers. They seemed to be fragments of some colossal object, having fallen from the sky and crashed into the earth, carving deep ravines through the ice.
Their origins had been recorded in the literature.
