In the blink of an eye, the waters near Gusell Port were already shrouded in mist.

Brando and the others were already moving at remarkable speed. While keeping an eye out for the thing beneath the water, they flew to the entrance of the bay in the space of a few breaths.

What they found difficult to endure, however, was that the mist was spreading just as quickly. One mist-shrouded sailboat after another was leaving the port. They moved at an astonishing speed, with the mist close on their heels. In the blink of an eye, it caught up from behind.

Brando carried Instaron in one hand. He thrust out his other hand and fired two blasts of air with twin puffs, tearing open gaps in the mist on either side. The others hurriedly imitated him. Most of them might not have possessed Brando's level as an Elemental Envoy or wizard, but their magical equipment, swordsmanship, or special abilities happened to produce similar effects.

Naquel was held between two knights. He drew his longbow and fired several explosive arrows ahead. The blasts scattered most of the mist, and the effect was even better than Brando's spell.

Adeni, meanwhile, wielded her sword in both hands and swept it horizontally. A white Light Blade several dozen feet long shot forward, forcibly tearing open a gap in the mist.
