"No, that's not right." The Little Princess of the Jade Phoenix lineage shook her head. "There isn't any dust on the ground here. How could such a huge cloud of dust have been stirred up?"

Aloz was stunned, while Magdal's expression had already changed slightly. She crouched and wiped a hand across the ground, then gently rubbed the dust between her fingers. Her delicate brows soon furrowed.

"Sure enough. Damn it, there's something wrong here."

"It must be that cunning goat-horned bastard, Akentu." Aloz was already stamping her feet and cursing. Dragons and demons had always been mortal enemies, and she had suffered greatly at its hands in Taoqike before. She held an even deeper grudge against that Lord of Purgatory. "It must be somewhere nearby. It ambushed Magdal earlier, too."

Huang Huo did not answer. She merely tossed the thing in her hand onto the ground ahead and said, "There's this, too."

Aloz and Magdal took a closer look and realized that Huang Huo had been carrying the corpse of a strange creature. When she threw it to the ground, a pair of scarlet membranous wings emerged from the back of the emaciated monster.

"This is a lesser demon!"

"It really is that bastard Akentu." The Little Female Dragon's expression changed. "Where are the others? Where is that human woman, Delphine?"

Billions upon billions of stars gathered together, hanging in the pitch-black void, yet reflecting a trace of death.

Nearby, almost all the planets were shattered, and even the light of the stars appeared dim. From time to time, fragments of asteroids drifted past Brando. The aura of time and space upon them no longer seemed so vibrant. Even Floro and the others nearby—or rather, the dragons—could clearly sense that this once-perfect realm had begun to decay.
