Enlightenment Element I

The Water Elemental seemed to lift the entire surface of the lake into the air and hurl it at Brando and Nemesis by the lakeshore. A transparent wall of water poured down from midair like a waterfall. When it smashed into the ground, the water shattered into clouds of white spray, sending countless sharp arrows sweeping toward them.

Brando had already leaped onto the lakeshore and turned to run with Nemesis. A flood taller than a man pursued them closely from behind, spreading through the cedar forest. Amid a series of sharp cracking sounds, it ripped the towering frost-aspected trees out by their roots and swept them into the whirlpool.

The white waves quickly pushed countless fallen trees forward, but they were always one step behind Brando and Nemesis. Instead, they swept many Frost Sprites that had failed to escape into the water. The wall of water continued forward for over a hundred meters before gradually settling down, then began to retreat and seep into the soil.

Brando and Nemesis ran to a mound of earth. Only then did they breathe a sigh of relief and turn around, seeing that the woodland had been transformed beyond recognition. Countless fragments of ice floated in the muddy water as it receded, making them click their tongues. These Ice Faeries truly showed no mercy to their own kind.

"Just how many Ice Faeries are there in that forest?" Nemesis gazed toward the lake, whose surface had already become a third shallower, now filled with Water Elementals swaggering about.

Brando was at a loss for words. Summoning a Water Elemental was a sixth-circle spell, and every summoned Water Elemental was a level-37 Silver Peak Elemental Creature. Their strength was almost on par with Nemesis's, and as Elemental Creatures, they might even be somewhat stronger
