Ch. 182Greatly Increased Strength, Liubo Mountain in the East Sea
After Ji Shu killed the Ghost King Sect members who tried to assassinate him, Wanrenwang tasked him with capturing the Kui Niu at Liubo Mountain before letting him leave. Ji Shu advanced his cultivation and traveled east with Bi Yao, Hu Xiaoliu, and Hu Sanniang, where he secluded himself as the Ghost King Sect and other factions gathered.
- Wanrenwang stopped Ji Shu from leaving until Ji Shu agreed to capture the Kui Niu at Liubo Mountain, while Xuanwu warned that Ji Shu was a Player who might one day oppose the sect.
- Bi Yao offered to persuade her father to let Ji Shu stay, but Ji Shu said he intended to leave after settling his debt to the Ghost King Sect; Hu Xiaoliu and Hu Sanniang resolved to follow him.
- During a day of cultivation, Ji Shu mastered the essence of the Heavenly Scripture's second volume and sensed that his spiritual power had increased greatly.
- Ji Shu traveled to Liubo Mountain with Hu Xiaoliu, Hu Sanniang, and Bi Yao, while the Ghost King Sect contingent set up at the shore.
- Ji Shu entered a cave to cultivate, and Hu Xiaoliu and Hu Sanniang guarded him as righteous-path cultivators investigated and clashed with them.
- Hu Xiaoliu and Hu Sanniang noticed that many demonic figures had gathered near Liubo Mountain, while most righteous-path visitors headed toward the Ghost King Sect and other groups.
